Sozapooty GLD-YP5C-G2V2 10,000-Lux UV-Free Floor Lamp with Adjustable Gooseneck

The Sozapooty GLD-YP5C-G2V2 is a UV-free, 10,000-lux floor lamp for bright, daylight-style lighting at home or in an office. Its flexible gooseneck lets you direct the light towards a reading area, desk or other spot where you need it.

Choose from five brightness levels and five colour-temperature settings. Remote and touch controls make it easy to adjust the light as your activity or preferred atmosphere changes.

With a minimalist white finish, this lamp brings adjustable lighting to a room without relying on a fixed overhead source.

Highlights

This floor lamp combines bright light with practical control over how it is directed and adjusted. The 360° rotatable gooseneck can be angled towards a book or work surface, while five brightness settings, ranging from 20% to 100%, let you tailor the output to the task. Five colour-temperature options from 3000K to 6000K provide a choice of warmer or cooler light.

Use the touch controls on the lamp or adjust it with the included remote. That gives you a convenient way to change settings from your seat, whether you are reading, working in an office or using the room for everyday activities. A timer is also listed among its features. The lamp has one light source and a 50-watt rating.

Fit and sizing

Designed for indoor, floor-mounted use, this lamp suits spaces such as a home office, bedroom or living room. Its listed dimensions are 43D x 8.4W x 28H centimetres, and its weight is 2.95 kg. The white fabric shade and plastic base give it a simple look that can sit comfortably alongside a range of décor styles.

The corded electric design uses 120 volts of alternating current. Place the lamp where its flexible neck can direct light towards your chosen reading or work area. Compared with a desk lamp that occupies space on the work surface, a floor lamp offers a separate placement point while still letting you focus the light where it is useful.

How to use it

Set the lamp up indoors as a floor-mounted light, then position the gooseneck to direct its beam. For reading, aim it towards the book or chair-side area, for office tasks, angle it towards the desk. Select one of the five brightness levels and choose a colour temperature between 3000K and 6000K to suit the setting. Adjust using the lamp’s touch operation or the included remote, and use the timer feature when it suits your routine.

Its flexible direction and adjustable settings make it useful when one fixed light level does not suit every activity. For instance, a home office can use a cooler setting for focused tasks, while a warmer setting can provide a different feel for reading later in the day.

Final verdict

The Sozapooty GLD-YP5C-G2V2 is a practical fit for anyone seeking a UV-free, 10,000-lux floor lamp with flexible aiming and straightforward brightness and colour adjustment. Its gooseneck, remote and touch controls make it especially suited to reading corners and home workspaces where directed light is more useful than a single fixed overhead source.
