Glocusent C12 135 LED Rechargeable Camping Lantern, 5,000mAh, 1,500 lm

Its 135 LEDs cast light across a full 360° area, helping illuminate a campsite or room during a power outage. Choose from five brightness levels and three colour modes to suit the task. With a rechargeable 5,000mAh battery and an SOS strobe, it’s built for more than one kind of outdoor plan. Need light for a shared space rather than a single point ahead? The C12 is designed for broad, surrounding illumination.

Best use cases

At a campsite, place the lantern on a table to light the area where people are cooking, reading or sorting gear. The 360° beam spreads light around the lantern, while the five brightness settings let you adjust the glow for different activities. Its three colour modes include warm 3000K light, neutral 4500K and cool 6000K, so you can choose a tone suited to relaxing, reading or getting a clearer view outdoors.

The C12 also suits overnight hikes, fishing trips, backyard gatherings and emergency kits at home or in a vehicle. In a power outage, its wide-area light can help illuminate a room, while the SOS red strobe is intended for signalling. A Type-C port can charge a cell phone, adding a practical backup function when access to power is limited. The top handle and bottom hook give you options to carry, hang or set down the lantern.

Why it’s worth it

Compared with a flashlight that directs its beam forward, this lantern is made to light a surrounding area, making it useful when several people need to see the same space. Its maximum output is 1,500 lumens, and the brightness controls make it easier to tailor the light for a campsite task or a quieter evening. The memory function recalls the last setting, while the large recessed buttons are designed for straightforward operation in the dark.

The rechargeable battery is rated for up to 200 hours on low, and a full charge takes about 3.5 hours via USB-C. That combination can be handy for multi-day trips or keeping an emergency light ready at home. Buyers often praise the brightness, lighting quality, battery life and usefulness for camping and outdoor activities. Feedback on size is mixed, and some buyers question whether the light reaches the advertised maximum output, so those comments are best understood as individual impressions rather than measured performance.

Worth noting

The lantern measures 18.5 cm high and is made from plastic with a matte finish, its listed weight is 299 g. IP44 water resistance makes it suitable for outdoor use where some protection from splashes is useful. The three colour temperatures and adjustable brightness are separate ways to adapt the light: choose a tone for the setting, then set the level for the task.

The package includes the Glocusent camping lantern, a charging cable and a user manual. Recharge it through USB-C before a trip or add it to a home emergency kit so it is ready when the usual lighting is unavailable. Its handle, hanging hook and tabletop placement make it practical across changing setups, rather than tying it to one fixed spot.

Final verdict

The Glocusent C12 is a practical fit for campers and households that want rechargeable, wide-area lighting in one portable lantern. Its 360° spread, three colour modes, five brightness levels and SOS function cover everyday campsite use as well as unexpected outages. For shared spaces where broad light is more useful than a directed beam, this lantern brings adaptable illumination and a useful phone-charging option together.
