SONGMICS ULSF088G01 Storage Ottoman Bench, Dark Gray Linen-Look Fabric

A padded, tufted lid gives this SONGMICS storage ottoman a comfortable place to sit while keeping everyday items tucked away. Its dark gray linen-look fabric brings a refined finish to a bedroom, living room or entryway.

At 110 cm wide, it offers a generous bench surface along with storage beneath the lid. Use it to keep blankets, bed linens, books or other household essentials close at hand without adding a separate storage bin.

The MDF construction and reinforced lid corners are designed to support a maximum static load of 660 lb. With its padded top and practical storage, this bench makes one piece of furniture work in two useful ways.

Highlights

The linen-look upholstery and tufted top give the ottoman a finished appearance, while 25D high-resilience foam adds cushioning for sitting or putting your feet up. The dark gray colour is easy to work into a range of room settings, from the end of a bed to a living-room seating area.

Lift the lid to store spare bedding, folded blankets, books or an emergency bag, then close it to keep those items out of sight. The bench can also serve as an entryway seat for changing shoes or as a coffee-table alternative when you want extra seating and concealed storage in one footprint. Buyers particularly appreciate its storage space, comfortable top and straightforward assembly.

How it fits

The rectangular bench measures 39.9D x 110W x 39.9H cm, giving it a long seating surface that works well at the end of a bed or along a wall. Its 15.7-inch seat height offers a convenient spot to sit while dressing or putting on shoes. Choose a clear area where the lid can open, and keep it fully in place before sitting on the bench. Avoid placing oversized items inside.

Support feet allow the lid to stand up when the bench is positioned against a wall, making it easier to access stored items. Pads on the feet help prevent slipping and protect the floor from scratches. The bench top is made from FSC-certified wood, and the fabric surface can be cared for by wiping with a dry cloth. Assembly instructions are included.

Best use cases

At the foot of a bed, the bench provides a spot to sit while keeping extra linens or clothing close by. In an entryway, it combines a shoe-changing seat with storage for everyday essentials. In a living room, it can stand in for a separate footrest or coffee table when a padded surface and hidden storage are more useful than another open shelf.

Compared with buying a standalone bench and a separate storage chest, this ottoman brings both functions together. That makes it a practical choice for rooms where furniture needs to earn its floor space, while its dark gray fabric and tufted lid help it look at home as part of the room rather than simply a storage container.

Final verdict

Choose the SONGMICS ULSF088G01 when you want a wide, padded bench with useful concealed storage. Its 660 lb maximum static load capacity, comfortable tufted top and versatile placement make it well suited to bedrooms, living rooms and entryways where a seat and storage can share the same footprint.
