Getting the most from it

Place the bench near the entrance to create a convenient spot for sitting while changing footwear. The open shelf keeps shoes visible and accessible, and the space below the bench offers another place to store items. In a smaller entryway, combining a seat and shoe rack can make better use of the available floor area than choosing separate pieces. The bench can also serve as a storage shelf beneath a kitchen breakfast bar, as described for the product.

Would a dedicated spot for shoes make the entrance easier to keep tidy? This design brings seating and storage together, so footwear can be put away close to where it is taken off. Its brown top and metal frame also suit a room where a purely functional rack might feel out of place.

Buyer feedback often praises the bench’s appearance, straightforward assembly and sturdy feel, while opinions on alignment are mixed. Assembly is required, and instructions are included, once assembled, the bench is ready to serve as an entryway seat and storage surface. For care, wipe it with a dry cloth.

How to use it

Assemble the bench using the included instructions, then position it where you want a convenient seat and shoe storage. Keep frequently used footwear on the mesh shelf for easy access, or use the surface below for other daily items. Its simple rectangular shape also makes it suitable for a hallway, mudroom or living room, where it can add a practical seating and storage spot.

When it makes sense

Choose the HOMEFORT shoe bench when you want more than a standalone shoe rack: it pairs an MDF seating surface with a metal frame and mesh shelf, helping organize the entry while providing seating for two. Its 90 cm width and rustic brown finish make it a practical fit for a home entrance or mudroom where everyday shoes need a dedicated place and a seat is useful.
