Skillmatics SKILL108GAPB Guess in 10 Animal Planet Travel Card Game

For kids aged 6 and up who enjoy animals, quick-thinking questions and screen-free play, Skillmatics Guess in 10 Animal Planet brings a guessing challenge into a compact card game. It works for family game time, playdates and travel.

Players take turns asking yes-or-no questions to identify the animal on a game card. The limit of 10 questions encourages them to choose clues carefully and think through what each answer reveals.

Designed for 2 to 6 players, the game takes about 20 minutes to play. It offers a lively activity that can fit into a short break or a longer family gathering.

Best use cases

Use the game for a family game night, a playdate or a road trip when you want an activity that brings players together without a screen. It can be played one-on-one or in teams, so the group can choose a format that suits the moment. The portable game box makes it easy to bring along, while the animal theme gives kids an engaging starting point for asking and answering questions.

A typical round invites players to narrow down an animal through questions such as whether it can fly or lives in groups. Each answer helps shape the next question, making the game a practical way to practise communication, decision-making, problem-solving and creative thinking through play.

Where it shines

The central challenge is simple to learn: ask up to 10 yes-or-no questions and work out which animal is on the card. Players can use clue cards and bonus questions as part of their strategy, adding choices beyond simply asking the next question. The goal is to collect 7 game cards first, giving each round a clear target and keeping the group focused.

Unlike a larger game built around a board and a fixed play area, this card game is easy to take along. It suits settings where a portable activity is useful, from a visit with family to time spent travelling. With a short average playing time, it’s also easy to bring out for a quick round rather than plan an entire evening around one game.

Worth noting

The set includes 50 game cards, 6 clue cards and an instruction manual. The game is designed for 2 to 6 players and recommended for ages 6 and up. Its animal trivia and question-based format gives children a chance to practise thinking aloud, listening to other players and adapting their next question as they gather clues. It’s a hands-on, screen-free way to make animal-themed play social and interactive.
