SHIHOT 18-inch Low-Profile Caged Ceiling Fan with Light and Remote
Product description
With a 17.5-inch iron cage and a compact 45D x 45W x 18H centimetre profile, this SHIHOT ceiling fan brings an industrial-inspired look to rooms where a flush-mount fixture suits the space. Its white-and-gold finish gives the caged design a distinctive presence.
Eight ABS blades sit inside the cage, combining the fan and light fixture in one ceiling-mounted design. The bulbs are not included, so you can choose bulbs for the fixture to suit your room.
Remote control puts the fan’s three speeds and timer settings within easy reach. Reversible airflow also makes it useful beyond warm-weather cooling.
Key features
The reversible fan can move air forward to help cool a room in summer, then switch direction to circulate indoor air during winter. That makes it a practical choice for year-round air movement in a bedroom, dining room, kitchen, study or living room. Rather than choosing a standalone fan and a separate ceiling light, this fixture brings both functions together in a caged, low-profile format.
Use the remote to select low, medium or high fan speed and set the timer. The quiet-operation motor is designed for smooth, low-noise running, which can be especially welcome in a bedroom or study. Its industrial retro styling adds a decorative detail while the enclosed cage frames the eight blades.
How to use it
Mount the fixture to the ceiling and use the included manual and installation accessories to guide setup. A hook design supports installation, and the fan is supplied with a remote control. For everyday operation, adjust the speed or timer from the remote, and change the fan direction to suit seasonal air circulation. Choose and install compatible bulbs for the light fixture, bulbs are not included.
Everyday use
In a bedroom, the remote lets you change the airflow or set a timer without reaching the ceiling fixture. In a kitchen or dining room, the three speeds offer a straightforward way to adjust air movement as needed. For winter use, reverse the fan to circulate stagnant indoor air, when warmer weather arrives, forward airflow helps cool the room. The integrated fan-and-light approach is a useful alternative to pairing separate ceiling fixtures when you want both functions in one installation.
Would a ceiling fan that also provides a light suit a room better than two separate fixtures? This design brings the functions together while keeping the fan enclosed in a decorative iron cage. Its white-and-gold finish and compact profile also help it work as part of the room’s overall look, not just as an air-moving fixture.
Final verdict
The SHIHOT caged ceiling fan is well suited to bedrooms, kitchens, dining rooms and other indoor spaces where remote-controlled airflow and a ceiling light are useful together. Reversible operation supports seasonal air circulation, while three speeds and a timer make day-to-day adjustments simple. Choose it for a low-profile, industrial-style fixture that combines a fan and light in one ceiling-mounted design.
