Vacuum storage bags 12-pack

Bulky clothing and bedding can take over a suitcase before the trip has even started. This 12-pack of vacuum storage bags is designed to compress items with a cordless rechargeable pump, so you can pack sweaters, jeans or a blanket without bringing a household vacuum. The set includes four bag sizes and a semi-transparent panel for identifying what’s inside. One detail to keep in mind: the product information doesn’t say how the 12 bags are divided among the sizes.

Key specifications

The bags are made from reinforced PA+PE material and are listed as 3.5 mil thick, with a double-zipper seal. The pump has a 2000mAh battery, charges via USB-C and is claimed to provide 100+ compressions per charge, according to the manufacturer. It switches on with a two-second press, a design intended to reduce accidental activation while travelling.

The four listed sizes are Mini (15.7" x 11.8"), Small (23.6" x 15.7"), Medium (27.6" x 19.7") and Large (31.5" x 23.6"). Use the smaller bags for socks or other compact items, and reserve the larger ones for bulkier clothing or bedding. The product claims to save up to 80% of luggage space, but the actual room saved will depend on what you pack and how full each bag is.

Who it’s for

This setup suits travellers who want to make room for more clothing in a suitcase, or keep seasonal items compressed between trips. For example, you could put socks in a Mini bag, jeans in a Small, and a bulky sweater in a Medium, then use the Large for a blanket at home. The pump means you don’t need to find a wall outlet or use a full-size vacuum to remove air.

Compared with packing cubes, which organize clothes without compressing them, these bags focus on reducing bulk. That can be useful for a crowded suitcase or bedding storage, though it adds a pump and sealing step to packing. It’s a good choice if you want reusable compression bags in several sizes and value a cordless pump. It may not suit you if you need the exact number of bags in each size before buying, that breakdown isn’t provided.

Package contents

The listing describes a 12-pack of storage bags, a rechargeable electric pump and four size options. It doesn’t specify the number of bags assigned to each size, so don’t assume an even split. The bags are described as reusable: fill one, close the double zipper and use the pump to remove air. A semi-transparent panel makes it easier to spot the contents without opening the bag.

Three practical questions

Does the pump need to be plugged in while in use? No. It’s described as cordless and rechargeable through USB-C, the listed battery capacity is 2000mAh.

Can the bags hold blankets? The product description includes blankets among the intended uses, and the largest listed bag measures 31.5" x 23.6". Check the blanket’s folded size against the bag before packing.

Can you see what’s inside without opening a bag? The bags have a semi-transparent panel, which can help identify the contents at a glance.

Veredicto final

Choose this set if compressing clothes or bedding matters more than keeping packing as simple as possible, and the four listed sizes cover the items you expect to store. The cordless pump is a practical distinction from bags that require a household vacuum, especially when packing away from home. Skip it if you need a confirmed size-by-size bag count, or if you mainly want to organize luggage without compressing its contents.
