SONGMICS Storage Cubes 26 x 26 x 28 cm

Two handles on each cube make it easier to pull stored items from a shelf without reaching around the sides.

The sand beige fabric print has a subtle textured look, so the bins can organise everyday belongings without looking like plain utility boxes.

They fold flat when they’re not in use. That’s handy if you want a matching set for regular use but don’t want all the cubes taking up space year-round.

Key specifications

This set contains eight storage cubes, each measuring 26 x 26 x 28 cm. They’re made from 80 g/m² non-woven fabric with odourless PP plastic sheets for structure. Each cube is rated to hold up to 5 kg.

The dimensions are intended to fit cube storage organisers, though the fit will depend on the opening of your particular shelf. Measure that space before choosing these, especially if the shelf has a frame or dividers that reduce the usable opening. The cubes are fabric bins rather than hard-sided containers, so they’re better suited to clothing and general household items than to storage that needs a rigid outer shell.

Who it’s for

These are aimed at people who want a consistent way to sort clothes, books or assorted belongings across shelves in a bedroom, study or living room. For example, you could keep folded tops in one cube and smaller accessories in another, then use the handles to bring the right one forward. They also make sense when open shelving looks cluttered and you’d rather keep items grouped out of sight.

Puede interesarte si you need several matching bins that can be folded away between uses. Puede no ser la mejor opción si your storage needs a sealed container or you regularly put more than 5 kg in one bin. The stated weight limit is worth keeping in mind for dense items such as books, a rigid box may be a better fit when sturdy walls matter more than easy folding.

Incluye

The set includes eight sand beige fabric cubes. The base panels are inserted during setup, and the cubes fold flat for storage when they’re not needed. No additional accessories or lids are listed in the product details, so don’t count on them for covered or dust-protected storage.

Three practical questions

How much can each cube hold? Each one is rated for up to 5 kg. That gives you a clear limit for sorting clothes or lighter household items, but it may be restrictive for a bin filled with heavier belongings.

Will they fit my cube shelf? They measure 26 x 26 x 28 cm and are described as suitable for cube storage organisers. Compare those dimensions with the shelf’s usable opening, as the product details don’t specify compatibility with a particular organiser.

Can I put them away when they’re empty? Yes. Insert the base panels for use, then fold the cubes flat when you want to store them. That makes the set more flexible than leaving rigid boxes on a shelf between uses.

Veredicto final

Choose these SONGMICS cubes if you want eight coordinated, foldable bins for shelf-based organisation and your items sit within the stated weight limit. They offer a practical alternative to individual baskets when matching sizes and a flatter storage option matter. Skip them if you need lids, sealed storage or the rigidity of a hard-sided box, those needs call for a different style of organiser.
