RYB Home Outdoor Blackout Curtain, 1 Panel
Product description
When sunlight and nearby sightlines make a patio or balcony feel exposed, an outdoor curtain can add shade and privacy without changing the whole space. This RYB Home panel is described as waterproof, thermally insulating and designed for blackout coverage, with grommets for hanging. Its brown colour and 52-by-95-inch dimensions give you a specific panel size to plan around, rather than a set of curtains for an entire pergola. The package includes one panel, so coverage depends on how much of your outdoor area you want to screen.
Key specifications
The listing identifies this as an outdoor blackout curtain in brown, measuring 52 inches wide by 95 inches long. It has grommets and is described as waterproof, thermally insulating and offering 100% privacy. Those are useful claims for a porch, balcony, gazebo or pergola, but the information provided does not explain how the fabric performs in particular weather conditions or how much light it blocks in different settings. Without having tested it, it’s sensible to treat those descriptions as the intended features rather than a guarantee for every outdoor setup.
Care is straightforward according to the listing: machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water. That gives you a stated cleaning method, though no additional care details are provided. The key practical limit is quantity: this is one panel, not a multi-panel set. Measure the area you want covered and consider whether a single width will provide the privacy or shade you have in mind.
Who it’s for
It may interest you if you want a simple way to screen one section of a deck, porch or balcony, especially where privacy matters alongside shade. For example, a panel hung along the exposed side of a gazebo could help create a more sheltered-feeling corner for sitting outside. The grommet format also points to hanging from a compatible support, but the listing does not specify what hardware is included.
It won’t suit you if you need curtains for several sides of a large pergola, or if you need detailed information about fabric composition, attachment hardware or performance in strong weather. A buyer looking for a complete, coordinated outdoor enclosure may prefer a multi-panel set, this listing is focused on a single curtain panel instead.
Package contents
The package contains one blackout curtain panel. No tiebacks, mounting hardware or additional panels are listed, so don’t assume they’re included. The stated panel size is 52 inches wide by 95 inches long, in brown. That makes the intended coverage easier to estimate, but it remains important to compare those measurements with the space you want to cover before choosing it.
Three specific questions
Is this sold as a pair? No. The package description specifies one curtain panel.
Can it be machine washed? The listing says it can be machine washed on a gentle cycle in cold water.
Is it intended for outdoor use? Yes. It is described for outdoor spaces such as patios, pergolas, porches, balconies and gazebos, and is listed as waterproof. No further weather-performance details are provided.
Final verdict
Choose this panel if one brown, grommet-style curtain in the listed size is enough to add privacy or shade to a defined outdoor area, and the stated washing instructions suit your routine. Look elsewhere if you need multiple panels, included hanging hardware or more detailed evidence about weather resistance. The single-panel quantity is the deciding detail: it may work for a targeted screen, but it is not a ready-made solution for enclosing a larger patio.
