Ring Battery Doorbell 4K Pro, Retinal 4K Video and 10x Enhanced Zoom

Retinal 4K video with a wide-angle view helps you take in more of your entrance at a glance. When a detail is farther away, Enhanced Zoom lets you get closer, up to 10x. This battery-powered Ring doorbell also combines night vision, two-way talk and radar-powered motion alerts for a more informed view of activity at home or a business.

Key points

The wide-angle Retinal 4K view is designed to capture a broad scene, while up to 10x Enhanced Zoom gives you a way to focus on details at a distance, such as a face near the approach. Rather than relying on a single broad view, you can take in the surroundings and then zoom in when a closer look is useful.

Night Vision is designed to keep footage in colour for longer in low light, then switch automatically to black and white in total darkness. That change helps maintain a view as lighting conditions shift from evening into night. With Live View and Two-Way Talk with Audio+, you can see, hear and speak to someone at the door from your phone.

Radar-powered 3D Motion Detection sends real-time phone alerts when activity is detected. This gives you a prompt to check Live View and decide whether to respond, rather than relying only on someone pressing the doorbell. The Quick Release Ultra Battery Pack is made for convenient recharging and flexible mounting around the home.

Best use cases

This model suits an entrance where a wide view and the ability to inspect distant details are both useful. For example, if someone approaches while you are inside, the wide-angle video helps show the scene, and zoom can bring a face or other detail closer for a better look. Night Vision adds a view in changing light, while two-way audio lets you answer or speak to a visitor without going to the door.

It also fits situations where you want motion alerts on your phone alongside doorbell communication. You can check an alert through Live View and use Two-Way Talk to communicate with whoever is there. The battery pack supports mounting around the home without making the doorbell’s use depend on a fixed viewing position.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use the wide-angle view to check the overall approach, then apply Enhanced Zoom when you want to inspect a detail farther away. When lighting is low, Night Vision adjusts between colour and black-and-white viewing automatically, so you can continue checking activity as conditions change. For a visitor or delivery at the entrance, Live View and Two-Way Talk with Audio+ let you see, hear and respond through your phone.

When a real-time motion alert arrives, open the live view to see what triggered it and speak through the doorbell if needed. The Quick Release Ultra Battery Pack can be removed for recharging, making battery care part of regular use while retaining the flexibility to mount the doorbell around the home.

When it makes sense

It makes sense if you want more than a basic doorbell view: this model brings together wide-angle Retinal 4K video, up to 10x zoom, night vision, two-way audio and radar-powered motion alerts. Those features are particularly useful when you want to check activity at the entrance, look more closely at a distant detail and communicate with a visitor from your phone. Its rechargeable, quick-release battery pack adds practical flexibility for choosing where to mount it.
