RESTMO O-WM-4-BK Water Flow Meter with LCD and 4 Measurement Modes

For gardeners who want to track water use while watering, the RESTMO O-WM-4-BK measures both flow rate and consumption through an outdoor garden hose.

Its LCD and one-touch button make it straightforward to switch between four readings, helping you monitor a watering session or check water used for an RV tank.

The 3/4-inch hose connections and rotating inlet make it easy to position in a hose setup. It measures in US gallons or litres, so you can choose the unit that suits your routine.

Worth noting

The four display modes cover different ways to check water use. FLOW shows the real-time rate, CONSUMPTION shows the last water usage, AVERAGE tracks daily average usage over a week, starting the next day, and TOTAL shows cumulative use. A short button press cycles through the modes. In FLOW mode, a long press switches between US gallons and litres, in the other modes, a long press resets the data.

A Hall-type sensor and IC chipset support the meter’s calculations, with a stated measurement tolerance of ±5%. The specified flow range is 0.26~10.6 GPM (1~40 L/min), and the display can track up to 99999 Gal (99999 L). The LCD goes to sleep automatically after one minute without operation or water flow.

The housing is made from heavy-duty ABS and is described as weatherproof, with resistance to UV, sunshine and rain. Buyers’ views on reliability and accuracy are mixed: some value having a clear water-use reading, while others report differing experiences with consistent operation and measurement. The stated tolerance provides a useful reference when deciding how precisely you need to monitor a watering task.

How it fits

The 3/4” NH female inlet and 3/4” NH male outlet connect with compatible garden hose threads, and the rotating inlet helps orient the meter as you attach the hose. Its design is intended for outdoor hose use with watering equipment such as a sprinkler or nozzle sprayer, as well as RV water-tank filling. The meter uses one CR2032 battery, which is included.

Compared with a basic hose connector that offers no usage readout, this meter adds a visible flow rate and consumption information at the connection point. For example, while filling an RV tank, you can watch the running flow and check the usage reading rather than relying only on elapsed time. For lawn watering, the modes let you look at a single session or keep an eye on total use.

Who it’s for

This meter suits gardeners and RV owners who want more awareness of water moving through an outdoor hose. The live FLOW reading is useful when monitoring an active watering or filling task, while CONSUMPTION and TOTAL provide additional ways to review use. Its gallon-or-litre display also makes it practical for households that prefer one unit consistently across their watering routine.

When it makes sense

Choose the RESTMO O-WM-4-BK when you want a hose-mounted meter with more than a simple live flow display. Four modes support both in-the-moment checks and broader usage tracking, while the 3/4” connections are designed for common garden-hose setups. It’s a practical fit for managing sprinkler or nozzle watering and keeping a closer eye on water used during RV tank filling.
