Reiseresa Dog Car Seat Cover, 51.97 x 25.98 inch

The hard bottom is the feature that sets this Reiseresa dog car seat cover apart from a soft hammock: it helps extend the back-seat surface across the footwell gap, giving a dog more room to settle during a drive. Its quilted black cover also has trapezoid side flaps to shield the doors, while the included seat belt adds a way to keep your dog from slipping around. The idea is practical for road trips, but the listed dimensions and the lack of a stated weight limit matter when deciding whether it suits your vehicle and dog.

Key specifications

This back-seat extender measures 51.97 x 25.98 inch and uses a high-density board in the base for a firmer surface than a fabric-only cover. It is described as fitting most cars, SUVs and trucks, though that broad claim does not confirm a precise fit for every seat shape. Check the measurements against your rear bench and the space between the front and back seats before choosing it.

The cover has two storage pockets for items such as toys, food or a foldable water bowl. The seat belt is included, but the product details do not give a board load rating or explain how the belt attaches. A falta de ese dato, avoid assuming the extender is suitable for a dog whose weight or movement needs a specifically rated support system.

Who it’s for

Es buena opción si your dog needs more of the rear seat to lie down, or if you want one cover that can serve more than one purpose. On a longer drive, for example, the extended surface can give a dog room to stretch out rather than balance on the seat cushion while the footwell remains open. The side flaps may also help protect the doors from paws and everyday contact.

No te encajará si you need a confirmed fit for a particular vehicle, a published weight limit or detailed safety information. Compared with a basic bench cover, this model aims to add a more supported resting area, a simpler cover may make more sense if you only want to protect the upholstery and do not need the gap-spanning base.

What's included

The listing specifies an included dog seat belt. The cover itself has two built-in storage pockets, and its front zipper lets you open it into a bench-seat arrangement so a dog and person can share the back seat. It can also be set up as a hammock-style cover or used as a trunk liner. Reversibility adds another use as a picnic mat, though no separate accessories beyond the seat belt are specified.

Buying questions

Will it fit my car?

It is listed for most cars, SUVs and trucks, with a stated size of 51.97 x 25.98 inch. Compare those measurements with your seating area, the description does not name specific vehicle models.

Can a person sit beside the dog?

The front zipper can be unzipped to use it as a bench-seat cover, allowing a person and dog to sit together in the back. The available seating space will depend on your vehicle.

How do you clean it?

The listing says it can be cleaned with a damp cloth or vacuum. No machine-washing instructions are provided.

Veredicto final

Choose this extender if filling the rear-seat gap and giving your dog a broader place to lie down matter more than having a simple, flexible cover. Its hard base, door flaps and alternate setups make it more adaptable than a basic seat protector, but fit depends on your vehicle’s layout and the published details leave the base’s weight capacity unspecified. If those points are important for your dog, a product with a stated load limit and vehicle-specific sizing would be a more informed choice.
