MOVINPE fishing advent calendar 2026

Technical details

For someone who would rather unwrap fishing gear than another generic holiday treat, the MOVINPE Fishing Advent Calendar turns December into a daily tackle surprise. It is presented as a 24-day calendar for anglers, with a mix of lures and a few fishing accessories rather than a single, ready-to-use fishing kit.

The listed contents include a tackle box, fishing line, a lure-loading tool and fishing tongs, alongside spoon, soft plastic and hard lures. The description names poppers, pencils, minnows, crankbaits, VIBs, frogs, spoons and shrimp lures. It specifies six spoon lures, seven soft plastic lures and five hard fishing lures, but does not give a complete item-by-item breakdown of all 24 compartments. Treat the calendar as a varied assortment, not a guaranteed set of 24 lures.

Getting the most from it

The appeal is variety: a recipient can sort the new tackle into the included box and choose a lure to suit the water and fishing style they have in mind. For example, opening a spoon or soft plastic before a freshwater outing gives them something different to try without buying one lure type in bulk. The listing says the selection is intended for freshwater and saltwater, but it does not specify target species, lure sizes or line details.

It suits you if you are buying a seasonal gift for someone who enjoys trying different lures, or if an angler likes the small daily reveal as much as the tackle itself. It may not suit you if the recipient needs a particular lure size, species-specific setup or clearly itemised contents, those details are not provided here. The calendar is better approached as a fun assortment than as a replacement for carefully chosen, specialist tackle.

Usage tips

Once opened, keep the lures organised in the tackle box and match each one to the conditions and approach the angler already uses. A hard lure, a spoon and a soft plastic call for different choices on the water, so the range is most useful to someone comfortable selecting and rigging their own tackle. The listing mentions sharp barbed hooks, so handle the lures carefully and store them securely, especially around younger recipients.

The calendar is described as a Christmas countdown, with one surprise intended for each day in December. That makes it an easy gift to enjoy at home before a fishing trip, rather than something that needs to be opened all at once. According to the manufacturer, the lures are designed with 3D eyes and lifelike body textures, there is no further detail about materials or individual lure construction.

Before buying

The strongest reason to choose this set is the combination of a festive format and a broad lure mix. It offers a different kind of gift from buying one carefully selected lure: better suited to someone who enjoys surprises and experimenting, less suited to an angler who already has a precise tackle list. The product name identifies it as an adult calendar, while the listing also presents it as a gift for teens, consider the barbed hooks and the recipient’s experience before choosing it for a younger angler.

One limitation is the lack of a full contents list. Although several lure styles and counts are named, the description does not confirm exactly what appears in every compartment, or provide measurements for the tackle. If the recipient needs specific gear for a planned trip, a targeted purchase is the more predictable choice. For a fishing fan who will enjoy opening a varied set through December, the calendar’s surprise format is the main attraction.

Buying questions

Does it include more than lures? Yes. The listing names a tackle box, fishing line, a lure-loading tool and fishing tongs as well as lures.

Is it intended for freshwater or saltwater fishing? The product description says it is suitable for both, but does not identify particular species or conditions.

Are all 24 daily contents listed? No. Several lure categories and some counts are given, but there is no complete breakdown of every compartment. Buy it for the variety and countdown format, not a guaranteed item-by-item selection.
