Everyday compatibility
The connected app is intended to provide guided brushing, tips and content personalized to your routine. The brush also has a light ring at its base that signals when you are applying too much pressure, easing off when it lights up is a straightforward cue during brushing. A replacement reminder tracks how often and how hard you brush, then prompts you when it is time to change the head.
The product details do not identify supported phone platforms, so check that the app works with your device if the connected features are important to your decision. The brush itself is rechargeable and is described as providing up to 14 days of regular brushing per full charge. That gives you a stated battery-life reference for planning daily use or packing it for a trip, while the included case helps protect it on the go.
Getting the most from it
Choose a mode and intensity that feel comfortable, then use the pressure light as a reminder to ease up rather than pressing harder. Clean is the straightforward everyday setting, White+, Gum Health and Deep Clean+ offer alternatives when you want to focus your routine differently. The A3 head has multi-angle bristles, while the C3 is designed for plaque control, giving you two head types to use as part of the set.
Philips states that the A3 head can remove up to 2000% more plaque than a manual toothbrush. That is a manufacturer claim, not a guarantee of an individual result, and the supplied details do not explain the comparison method. Sonicare Fluid Action is described as moving fluid between teeth and along the gumline, alongside up to 62,000 bristle movements per minute. For a simpler approach, a basic brush may cover everyday brushing without app guidance or multiple settings, this model is more suited to people who want those prompts and adjustments in one routine.
Should you buy it?
It suits you if you want an adult electric toothbrush with pressure feedback, app-based guidance and a choice of modes, and you value having two brush heads and a travel case included. The battery-life figure and replacement reminder are useful details for everyday planning, while the app can add structure for someone who prefers guided brushing over managing each session unaided.
Not the best choice if you specifically want a manual toothbrush or do not need its app-connected features and range of settings, those extras are central to this model’s appeal. If you are considering the connected functions, confirm app support for your phone before choosing. For this type of use, the clearest reason to select the DiamondClean 9300 is the combination of brushing feedback, adjustable settings and included travel accessories—not an assumption that more modes alone will improve your results.
