PHILIPS AWP2771BLO/37 Filtered Water Bottle, Insulated Stainless Steel, Blue

How to use it

The activated carbon fibre filter helps reduce chlorine and particulates, so tap water tastes fresher while you’re out and about. Fill the bottle with municipally treated ambient tap water between 5°C and 38°C, then sip through the silicone mouthpiece. For the filter to work as intended, install it with its small round opening facing up and rinse a new filter before use. The reusable stainless steel bottle has a double-wall insulated design to keep water cold for up to 24 hours, making it handy for a commute, a workout or a day on the trail.

Why it makes sense

This bottle brings filtration and cold-water storage together in one travel-ready format. Instead of carrying a separate filter and bottle, you can refill from a suitable tap and drink through the integrated filter. Its activated carbon fibre reduces chlorine and particulates, which can help improve taste and odour, it does not remove minerals or total dissolved solids (TDS). The filter is rated for up to 40 gallons or two months, giving you a practical replacement interval to plan around.

The stainless steel body is BPA-free and designed for repeat use. A flip-up lid, integrated carry loop and silicone mouthpiece support grab-and-go hydration, whether you’re heading to the gym, packing for a hike or keeping water close at work. Buyers often appreciate the taste and temperature retention, while feedback on filtration and water flow is mixed. Correct filter orientation is a useful first step for smooth sipping.

Practical questions

What kind of water should I use? Fill it with municipally treated ambient tap water between 5°C and 38°C. Water outside this temperature range can affect filtration performance.

What does the filter reduce? The activated carbon fibre filter reduces chlorine and particulates to help improve water taste and odour. It does not reduce minerals or TDS.

How should I clean the bottle and fit the filter? Point the filter’s small round opening upwards when installing it. The bottle’s dishwasher-safe parts can be washed at up to 50°C, but the filter should be removed first. Clean the mouthpiece regularly, a bottle brush and mild detergent can be used if needed.
