Overmont low beach chair, 330 lb capacity

What matters most

If you want more than an upright seat for a quick stop at the beach, this Overmont chair is designed for longer stretches of reading, sunbathing or reclining outdoors. Its six adjustable positions range from upright to fully flat, with a widened seat, extended backrest, lumbar support and a headrest for a more supported lounging position.

The extras are practical for a day out: there’s a towel holder, a back pocket and a cooler bag tucked into the lower pocket at the back of the backrest. Keep in mind that the listing doesn’t give the chair’s weight or folded dimensions, so it’s difficult to judge how easy it will be to carry or fit in your vehicle.

The frame is described as rust-resistant, with reinforced stress points, while the double-layer 600D Oxford fabric is intended for outdoor use. The stated support is 330 lb. That combination may suit beach days and other outdoor lounging, though the listing doesn’t specify how the chair performs after prolonged exposure to salt water or sun.

How to use it

Choose an upright position for a book or a drink, then adjust the back as you settle in. For sunbathing or a nap, the chair can recline fully flat. The curved armrests and lumbar pillow are part of the support setup, the design also removes the crossbar beneath the seat, which is intended to avoid pressure on the legs.

The cooler bag is not a separate accessory to hunt for: it sits in the lower rear pocket. Before heading out, you can use the back pocket for small day-trip items such as sunscreen or a book, and the towel holder for a towel between swims. No cleaning instructions are provided, so follow the care information supplied with the chair rather than assuming a particular washing method.

Practical tips

Think about where you’ll use it and how you’ll transport it. A fully reclining chair can be useful when you plan to stay put for a while, but it may be less convenient than a simpler, more compact beach seat if carrying space is your main concern. Since no packed size or weight is listed, factor that uncertainty into your decision.

For a beach visit, set the chair up where you have room to recline, then keep your towel and day-use items close at hand. The integrated storage can help keep essentials together, but the listing doesn’t state the cooler bag’s capacity or how long it keeps drinks cold. If those details matter to your outing, they’re worth bearing in mind before choosing this design.

In your case

It suits you if you value several reclining positions, lumbar support and built-in storage for a relaxed day outdoors. The six-position adjustment is more versatile than a chair that only keeps you upright, especially if you want to change posture without leaving your spot.

It won’t suit you if you need a chair with a confirmed packed size, a stated weight or detailed cooler performance. The description doesn’t provide those figures, so buyers prioritizing portability or a specific cooling duration may prefer a product with those details clearly listed. Overmont states that its products come with a one-year warranty.
