Getting the most from it
Use the smaller setting for lighter trimming and select the wider opening for branches that need more cutting capacity, up to the stated maximum. This makes the shears useful for recurring garden jobs such as pruning shrubs, shaping growth and cutting back suitable tree branches. For repeated cuts, the motor-powered action offers an alternative to squeezing manual bypass shears each time, while keeping a familiar bypass blade format.
To start, switch on the tool and double-press the trigger to activate it. The stated sleep function can be reactivated with another double press. Check the display during a pruning session to keep an eye on battery level and cut count, and use the second battery as part of your work plan. Buyers describe the cutting action as effective on garden branches and appreciate the powered assistance for routine pruning, some also have differing views on the tool’s weight.
