## Getting the most from it

Use the smaller setting for lighter trimming and select the wider opening for branches that need more cutting capacity, up to the stated maximum. This makes the shears useful for recurring garden jobs such as pruning shrubs, shaping growth and cutting back suitable tree branches. For repeated cuts, the motor-powered action offers an alternative to squeezing manual bypass shears each time, while keeping a familiar bypass blade format.

To start, switch on the tool and double-press the trigger to activate it. The stated sleep function can be reactivated with another double press. Check the display during a pruning session to keep an eye on battery level and cut count, and use the second battery as part of your work plan. Buyers describe the cutting action as effective on garden branches and appreciate the powered assistance for routine pruning, some also have differing views on the tool’s weight.

## In the box

The set includes the electric pruning shears, two batteries, an adapter, two small wrenches, a sharpening stone, an instruction manual and a portable storage box. The accessories give you a place to keep the tool and its maintenance items together between pruning sessions.

## What to clarify

**What cutting sizes can I select?** The shears offer two settings: 0.98 inches and a maximum cutting diameter of 1.4 inches. Choose the setting that suits the branch and the cut you are making.

**What information appears on the LCD?** The display shows the battery level and the number of cuts, giving you a quick way to monitor both during garden work.

**How do I activate the shears?** After turning on the power, double-press the trigger to enter working mode. If the sleep function has activated, double-press again to resume.

## Is it worth it?

The two batteries and included sharpening stone also support a practical routine of cutting, storing and maintaining the tool. They’re a good fit if you want cordless powered assistance for repeated shrub and branch trimming, with a maximum 1.4-inch cutting diameter and clear on-tool usage information.
