Key takeaways

The OC-5188 pairs an open, high back with adjustable lumbar support to provide support around the lower back while you work, read or study. The chair’s height adjustment makes it easier to set the seat at a comfortable working level, while its swivel base supports movement at your desk. A foam-filled seat cushion adds padding, and mesh upholstery gives the chair a lighter visual style than a fully upholstered design.

Its nylon frame and orchid colour suit a home office or study room, and the listed uses also include gaming. Buyers commonly praise the chair’s appearance, adjustable features, lumbar support and seat cushioning. Those comments reflect individual impressions, but they point to the features people tend to notice in day-to-day use.

Size & fit

The Orchid finish adds colour to a workspace without changing the chair’s practical role as a desk seat. Choose it for a home office, study room or indoor gaming setup where an adjustable chair with a mesh look and padded seat suits the room and routine. Its caster base is listed for hard-floor surfaces.

How to use it

Assemble the chair by following the instructions in the product manual or packaging. Set the seat height to suit your desk, then adjust the lumbar support to a comfortable position. Use the swivel base to turn between your desk and nearby work materials, or to shift your position while seated. The chair is also described as rocking from 90 to 135 degrees, giving you a reclined position for a change of posture between tasks.

For a typical workday, set up the chair at your computer and adjust the height and lumbar support before settling into a task. The mesh upholstery, padded foam seat and high back bring distinct elements together: a breathable-looking fabric finish, cushioning under the seat and support behind the upper body. Care is straightforward: wipe clean.
