Best use cases

This chair suits a home office where one seat needs to cover more than upright computer work. Set it up at a desk for work or study, then use the recline and retractable footrest for a change of position between tasks. It can also serve as a gaming chair, with swivel movement for reaching around the workstation and adjustable features for settling into a preferred posture.

Compared with a basic upright task chair, the Efomao adds a reclining backrest and built-in foot support for users who value the option to relax at their desk. Its Big & Tall format, adjustable lumbar support and broad dimensions make those features part of the seating setup rather than a separate lounge seat. The metal base is described as BIFMA-approved, and the gas lift as SGS-certified, the stated capacity is 350 lb (160 kg).

Buyers commonly highlight the comfort, adjustable armrests and clear assembly instructions. Some also report that the chair is harder to roll than expected, so its wheels are useful for repositioning around the workspace, while comfort and reclining are key parts of its appeal.

Tips for day-to-day use

Start by setting the seat height to suit your desk, then adjust the lumbar support and armrests to your sitting position. Keep the footrest retracted while working upright and extend it when you recline for a short break. The tilt and swivel controls make it easier to move between desk tasks and a more relaxed posture without changing chairs.

Assembly instructions and components are provided, with setup described as taking about 20 to 30 minutes. For a smoother build, lay out the parts and follow the steps in order, having another person assist is recommended. Once assembled, place the chair at your indoor workstation and adjust it before settling into a longer work or study session.

Final verdict

The Efomao 3084f brings a roomy Big & Tall seat, adjustable support and a retractable footrest together in a beige mesh office chair. It is a practical match for home-office users who want one chair for desk work and occasional reclining, with the flexibility to adjust the seating position as the day changes.
