COLAMY W181 Velvet Accent Chairs, Set of 2, Black, Barrel Style

Create a dedicated reading spot or add separate seats to a living room with this set of two COLAMY W181 accent chairs. Their rounded barrel shape and integrated arms offer an inviting place to settle in with a book or enjoy a quiet break.

Black velvet upholstery brings a soft, textured finish to the room, while the modern three-leg design keeps the look clean and distinctive. The open back adds another design detail without losing the chair’s curved silhouette.

A pair of individual chairs suits a different need from one shared sofa: it gives guests their own seats and lets you arrange the room around separate conversation or reading spots. Each chair can also add a defined accent to a bedroom, office reception area or library.

Key takeaways

This set includes two upholstered barrel-style accent chairs in black. Integrated armrests and a curved back create a comfortable setting for reading, relaxing or watching TV, while the rubberwood frame provides the structure beneath the velvet upholstery. The three-leg design gives the chairs a modern profile that can complement contemporary or Scandinavian-inspired interiors.

The chairs are designed for indoor use and are recommended for accent seating, lounging, reading and relaxing. Use them as a pair in a living room, or place them in separate areas where extra seating would be useful. Their individual form makes it easier to arrange a room around more than one activity than with a single continuous seating piece.

Size & fit

Each chair measures 72.5D x 84W x 72.5H centimetres. The seat is 50 centimetres long and 56.9 centimetres deep, with a seat height of 46.6 centimetres. These measurements help you plan how the chairs will fit alongside existing furniture and how much space to leave for comfortable access. The rounded arms and back form a defined seating area, so allow for the full width when choosing a position.

The black velvet finish gives the pair a consistent look, whether the chairs sit together or in different parts of the same home. For everyday care, spot clean or wipe clean as directed.

Everyday use

Set one chair beside a lamp or bookshelf to make a reading corner, then use the second as extra seating elsewhere. Together, the pair can frame a coffee table or provide individual places to sit when friends or family gather. In a bedroom or dressing room, a chair offers a convenient place to pause, in an office reception area, the upholstered form adds a more relaxed seating option.

The padded seat and back support lounging, reading and watching television, while the integrated arms give you a natural place to rest your arms. Assembly instructions and tools are included to help with setup. These are indoor accent chairs, intended for furnishing everyday living spaces rather than outdoor areas.

When it makes sense

Choose this COLAMY set when you want two distinct seats with a coordinated black velvet look, rather than one larger piece of shared seating. The curved barrel shape, integrated arms and rubberwood frame combine practical everyday use with a modern accent-chair profile. It suits living rooms, bedrooms, libraries and reception areas where separate, comfortable seating can make the space more useful.
