Masupu CA-HZ1378 Rattan Nightstand, Black, with Side-Opening Drawer and Open Shelf

Some bedside tables are chosen for a clear surface, others need to keep everyday essentials organized, too. The Masupu CA-HZ1378 pairs a black finish with a rattan drawer and an open shelf. Would a side-opening drawer make it easier to store taller items close by? Its mix of display and enclosed storage suits a bedroom, living room or home office.

Fit and sizing

Measuring 40D x 48W x 64H centimetres, this rectangular table gives you a defined surface area while adding storage below. Its height and footprint are useful details to consider when planning a place beside a bed or seating area. The black top, base and handle create a consistent look, while the modern boho styling brings texture through the rattan drawer. The frame combines metal with engineered wood, so the design balances a structured base with a wood-look surface.

What you’ll notice day to day

The open shelf keeps books or devices within easy reach, while the drawer gives smaller essentials a more discreet home. Its side-opening design is intended to make room for taller items, adding a practical distinction from a bedside table with only a conventional front-facing drawer. Together, the two storage areas help separate things you want to access quickly from those you’d rather tuck away.

The black finish works as a defined accent in a room, and the rattan detail adds visual interest without changing the table’s rectangular shape. For everyday care, wipe it with a damp cloth or a dry cloth. Buyer feedback often praises the appearance and the clarity of the assembly instructions, comments on sturdiness are mixed, and some buyers report missing parts. The product includes an assembly guide and installation tool, with assembly recommended for one person.

When it makes sense

Choose this table when you want more than a place to set things down: the shelf offers quick access to books or devices, while the drawer provides enclosed storage and accommodates taller items. Compared with a simple open bedside surface, its combination of open and closed storage gives everyday belongings separate places. The same layout can serve as a side table in a living room or as practical storage in a home office. For a bedroom setup, its 64 cm height and 48 cm width give you concrete measurements to plan around. The Masupu CA-HZ1378 brings a black modern boho look together with useful storage, making it a considered fit for rooms where bedside or side-table essentials should stay close and organized.
