Getting the most from it
Use the raised tabletop as a temporary work or dining surface while seated on the sofa. The metal lift mechanism is designed for smooth operation, bringing the top up when you need a more accessible surface and letting it close back down for everyday coffee-table use. It offers a different approach from a fixed-height coffee table: rather than dedicating separate floor space to a small work or meal surface, you can use the lift top for those occasions.
The storage is split between two useful areas. Keep a laptop, remote controls or game controllers in the concealed compartment under the top, ready to reach while leaving the surface clear. The open shelf gives blankets, books, snacks and small household items a visible place. For example, set up the raised top for a laptop during the day, then close it and use the shelf for a book or throw in the evening.
Everyday use
The 98cm-long rectangular top gives the table a defined place in front of a sofa, while the espresso colour pairs naturally with a range of living-room furnishings. In a small apartment, dorm room or den, the lift-top function can help one table serve more than one everyday purpose. The two storage areas also make it easier to keep frequently used items together without leaving them scattered across the tabletop.
For routine care, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and follow with a dry cloth. This simple care approach suits regular upkeep as the table moves between coffee-table, work and dining use.
Practical questions
Can the tabletop be used as a workspace? Yes. It lifts to create an elevated surface intended for working while seated on the sofa, and the hidden compartment can keep a laptop close at hand when it is not in use.
What storage does the table provide? There is a concealed compartment beneath the lift top for items such as a laptop, remote controls and game controllers, plus an open shelf for blankets, books, snacks and small items.
How should I clean the table? Wipe it with a damp cloth and then a dry cloth, as directed in the care instructions.
When it makes sense
This table is a useful fit for a living room, reception room, small apartment, dorm or den where a coffee table that can also provide a raised work or dining surface has a clear role. Choose it for the combination of a smooth lift top and both concealed and open storage: you get a flexible surface for sofa-side tasks, with everyday belongings kept close and the main tabletop easier to clear.
