LU2000 Turntable Dust Cover, Black Polyester with Adjustable Drawstring

Highlights

At 46 x 38.1 x 10.2 cm, this black polyester cover is sized for a small turntable and uses an adjustable drawstring to secure the opening around the base. It offers a simple way to keep dust and everyday household grime off equipment when it is not in use, while the fabric design lifts away quickly when you want to play a record.

The cover is also described as water-resistant and machine washable, making routine care straightforward.

What makes a fabric cover useful for a turntable that gets regular use? It can be pulled on between listening sessions and removed without dealing with a rigid lid. The drawstring helps tighten the fit, including when the cover is a little roomy for the device.

Fit and sizing

The listed dimensions are 46 x 38.1 x 10.2 cm, and the cover is intended for small-size turntables. Compare those measurements with the full footprint and height of your player, including any parts that need to sit beneath the cover, before choosing it. The adjustable drawstring gives some flexibility at the opening, but the stated dimensions remain the best guide to fit.

A flexible fabric jacket is a practical alternative to a rigid dust cover when easy removal and storage are priorities. Buyers also describe it as useful for keeping dust off other electronics, including VCRs, though the turntable dimensions are the relevant reference for your setup.

Tips for day-to-day use

Pull the cover down over the turntable and tighten the drawstring so it sits around the lower edge. When the player is ready to use, loosen the cord and remove the cover, this keeps access simple between listening sessions. Its black colour gives the setup a neat, understated look, while the polyester fabric provides a reusable barrier against dust and airborne household dirt.

For cleaning, the care instructions allow machine washing with regular household detergent that does not contain bleach. Tumble dry on low heat, do not iron or dry clean. Following these care steps makes it easier to freshen the cover as it gathers dust from everyday use.

Buyer feedback generally highlights effective dust coverage, a useful fit and the convenience of using the cover on more than one kind of device. Some buyers do find the material thin, so this is best approached as a removable fabric dust cover rather than a rigid enclosure. Those comments are individual impressions, not a specification of protective performance.

Should you buy it?

Worth considering if you want a washable, drawstring-style cover for a small turntable and prefer quick access over a hard cover that stays in place. Its specified dimensions help guide the fit, and the adjustable opening makes it easy to secure and remove between plays. For a home listening area where the player is exposed to everyday dust while idle, this polyester cover is a straightforward way to keep the setup covered and ready for the next record.
