The 7 x 15-foot Petgrow artificial grass rug has 1.77-inch blades for a lush, cushioned surface. Its four-tone design and C-shaped yarn give the turf a natural-looking finish. Drainage holes help water pass through, making it practical for patios, balconies and pet areas. UV-protected PE and PP fibres bring this low-maintenance surface to indoor or outdoor spaces.

Technical overview

The thick, high-density turf combines a soft feel underfoot with upright blades designed to create a natural grass appearance. Four tones add visual variation, while the cushioned backing and non-abrasive fibres provide a gentler surface for children and pets. The synthetic material is UV-protected, and drainage holes support quicker water flow after rain or rinsing.

At 7 x 15 feet, this rug can cover a defined area such as part of a deck, patio or balcony. Unlike a natural lawn, it does not need watering, mowing or fertilizing, so it offers a straightforward way to add a green surface without regular lawn care. Its use indoors or outdoors also makes it suitable for settings beyond the yard, including a rooftop, terrace or pool area.

Who it’s for

This turf suits households looking to create a designated pet area or a softer-looking surface for outdoor living. It can also help refresh firm ground around a patio, deck or backyard, or add greenery to an indoor space. For children and pets, the cushioned backing and non-abrasive fibres are practical details, for anyone comparing it with natural grass, the appeal is a green surface that does not require routine watering or mowing.

It also works for commercial or event settings where a grass-like finish is useful, such as a school, park, golf area or theatrical set. The 7 x 15-foot format provides a ready-made coverage area, while the turf can be cut to suit an irregular space.

How to use it

Place the rug on firm ground or another suitable surface, then trim it to shape if the area requires a custom fit. The drainage holes help water move through the turf, which is useful during rainy weather and when cleaning a pet area. To rinse away urine, wash the affected area with water and let the turf dry. Its low-maintenance design means it does not require mowing, watering or fertilizing to keep a green appearance.

Before you decide

How do you clean it after a pet urinates on it? Rinse the area with water and let it dry. The drainage holes help water pass through the turf.

Can it be used indoors as well as outdoors? Yes. It is designed for indoor and outdoor use, including spaces such as balconies, rooftops, terraces and yards.
