Lrlite PLB-1 16-inch Battery-Operated Picture Light, Dimmable with Remote

At 16 inches, the Lrlite PLB-1 is a black metal picture light designed to cast light across artwork without a power cord running to the fixture. Its wall-washing effect helps bring a painting, framed print or dartboard into focus, while the modern rectangular profile also adds a defined accent above the display.

Choose warm, neutral or cool white to suit the artwork and the room, then adjust brightness with the remote or touch control. It’s a practical fit when you want a flexible display light without a permanent wired installation, for a fixed lighting setup, a hardwired fixture may better suit the project.

What you’ll notice day to day

The light offers three colour temperatures: 3000K, 4000K and 6500K. That gives you a choice between warmer illumination for a relaxed room, a neutral tone for everyday viewing, or cooler white to give a display a crisper look. Dimming lets you tailor the light level, and the 300-lumen output is intended for accent lighting rather than general room illumination.

Control it from the fixture or use the remote to change the brightness and colour temperature. The timer can switch the light off automatically after 15, 30, 60 or 120 minutes, and a memory function retains settings for convenient repeat use. The rechargeable 4000mAh battery is stated to provide up to 10 hours of operation on a charge, so the light can illuminate a display without a nearby outlet.

Highlights

A mounting bracket attaches to the wall with the included screws, while magnets hold the light bar in place for removal when it needs charging. The slot helps keep the bar seated on its mount. This setup suits a gallery-style arrangement above a painting, but the wireless design can also work as an accent near a mirror, beside a bed or along a hallway. The fixture is intended for indoor use and is not water resistant, so keep it clear of direct water and splashes when using it in a bathroom.

The black finish provides a simple visual frame around the light, and the adjustable angle helps direct illumination towards the display. Buyers commonly praise its appearance and straightforward installation, and report that it performs its intended lighting role. Feedback is mixed on battery life and brightness, so individual impressions vary, the stated runtime and 300-lumen output give useful reference points when planning where to place it.

Practical tips

Position the light above the centre of the artwork and adjust its angle to direct the beam across the display. Use the remote to set the colour temperature and brightness for the room, then choose a timer duration if you want the light to switch off automatically. When it’s time to recharge, remove the magnetic light bar from its wall bracket and reinstall it after charging. The 40 x 15.7 x 4 cm fixture is designed for wall mounting indoors, with a metal body and plastic shade.

Buying verdict

For anyone creating a cord-free display around a painting, framed print or dartboard, the Lrlite PLB-1 brings adjustable colour temperature, dimming and remote control into one removable wall-mounted light. Its timer and magnetic light bar make everyday operation and charging straightforward, while the black 16-inch design suits a focused accent above artwork or in another indoor display area.
