Lepro EE1-30 AI Permanent Outdoor Lights, 50 ft RGB+IC, Dual Output

At 50 ft, these permanent outdoor lights provide a flexible way to add colour to eaves, soffits and rooflines. The 30 RGB+IC LED nodes can be controlled independently in the Lepro app, so you can build customized colour patterns and scenes for holidays or everyday outdoor décor.

A dual-output controller supports either a split or single run from one power source, making it easier to plan a layout across different sides of the home.

With RGB+IC control, individual lights can be assigned different colours, allowing patterns and gradients rather than one uniform colour across the entire line. In the app, you can set the direction of moving effects—left to right, right to left, or outward or inward from the centre—and adjust colour, brightness and saturation by segment. LightGPM tools also let you request a theme by describing a mood or activity, or by using a photo as inspiration.

How to use it

Install the strings along an eave, soffit or roofline, then use the dual-output controller to choose a split or single-run layout. The kit includes double-sided tape, screws and plastic expansion anchors for mounting. Its 10 ft extension cable can go between the controller and the first string, or between the two strings, keep the strings intact, as cutting them can disrupt light recognition.

Use the Lepro app for setup and everyday adjustments. Wi-Fi connection uses the 2.4 GHz band, and both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth need to be active during Wi-Fi setup. Alexa and Google Assistant control is available after connecting the lights to Wi-Fi. Bluetooth provides app control for most features, while smart-assistant access uses Wi-Fi. The app supports DIY scenes, saved favourites, on/off control and timer functions, giving you options for seasonal displays and regular lighting routines.

Buyers often praise the lights’ appearance, brightness and straightforward installation, while feedback about app operation and the adhesive is mixed. The included mounting hardware gives you more than one way to secure the installation.

In the box

The set includes two 25 ft LED light strings, a 10 ft extension cable, a dual-output in-line controller and power adapter, 10 lengths of double-sided tape, and 30 screws with plastic expansion anchors. The 50 ft run has 30 LED nodes in total, and the supplied extension can help position the strings around the intended route.

Is it worth it?

A solid pick if you want permanent roofline lighting with independently controlled RGB+IC LEDs, app-created scenes and a choice of single or split installation. It suits homes where holiday colours, flowing effects and adjustable everyday décor are more useful than a basic string that displays one look throughout. The included mounting options and voice-assistant support add practical flexibility once the lights are in place.
