Lehoo Castle RM Wooden Train Set, 38-Piece Unicorn Railway in FSC-Certified Wood

Set up a little railway for a toddler’s story time: the Lehoo Castle RM Wooden Train Set combines an easy-to-build track with a pink unicorn train and a collection of fairy-tale play pieces. Children can connect the wooden tracks, arrange the scenery and create their own journeys without screens.

With 38 pieces and a unicorn theme, it brings more to pretend play than a train and track alone. The set is designed for toddlers aged 2–4 and suits young children who enjoy trains, imaginative stories and colourful accessories.

The set includes a train engine, three carriages, wooden tracks, a rainbow bridge, princess and unicorn figures, a castle, trees, mushrooms, decorative pieces and dessert-themed cargo. Double-sided printed accessories add detail to both sides of the play pieces, giving children more ways to arrange the scene as their story changes. Smooth edges and wooden construction suit everyday play, while the simple track connections make it approachable as a first railway set.

What it works with

The wooden railway is compatible with most major wooden railway systems, so it can join an existing collection and help extend a play layout. That gives families a choice: use this set on its own for a themed starter railway, or connect it with compatible wooden tracks already at home to build a larger route. As compatibility can vary between track systems, match the pieces with the railway collection you plan to use.

Tips for day-to-day use

Start by connecting the tracks and placing the rainbow bridge, castle and figures around the route. Children can then guide the train between the scenery, load the dessert-themed cargo and invent a new adventure each time. What could make a simple train journey more engaging than giving it a unicorn, a castle and characters to visit along the way?

The pieces support open-ended storytelling: one play session might focus on arranging the railway, while another can centre on the princess, unicorn or cargo. For a straightforward play setup, keep the track and accessories together so the child can rebuild the scene and change the route as part of the activity. The themed details make this a natural choice for a birthday or holiday gift for a child who enjoys unicorns and fairy-tale play.

What to clarify

Can it connect to an existing wooden railway? It is described as compatible with most major wooden railway systems, making it suitable for expanding many existing collections. Compatibility depends on the track system being used.

What can children build into their play? The set pairs a train and track with a bridge, castle, figures, trees, decorative pieces and cargo, giving children materials for both railway play and make-believe stories.

Is it suited to a first train set? Yes. Its easy-to-build track design is intended to make connecting the railway approachable for young children, and the product is presented for toddlers aged 2–4.

Buying verdict

Choose the Lehoo Castle RM when you want a wooden railway that combines train play with a complete unicorn-and-castle theme. Its 38 pieces offer plenty of scenery and story prompts in one set, while compatibility with most major wooden railway systems gives it a practical role as either a starter set or an addition to an existing collection.
