Veslier 559A8 Dinosaur Truck Toy with 4 Pull-Back Cars, Lights and Sound

Friction-powered movement gives the Veslier dinosaur truck and its four small pull-back cars an engaging way to get play started. Push the truck forward, or pull back a mini car and let it roll ahead. Flashing lights and realistic sound add sensory details to dinosaur-themed play. It is designed for children from 18 months to 5 years.

Technical overview

The set centres on a Tyrannosaurus Rex truck, accompanied by four small dinosaur cars. The truck moves with a push-and-go friction mechanism, while each smaller car uses pull-back action. Turning the truck’s head changes its driving direction, giving children another way to guide it during play. Lights and sound bring extra character to the vehicle, and the dinosaur theme gives the set a clear focus for imaginative play.

The truck measures 14 x 4.13 x 5.5 inches and is made of plastic. Its motion is manual and friction-powered, the product details also state that 3 nonstandard batteries are required. Recommended for ages 18 months to 5 years, it offers simple vehicle play that can involve pushing, pulling back, steering and following the cars as they move.

How to use it

For an indoor play session, children can push the truck along the floor and use its turning head to change direction. Pull back one of the small cars, release it, and watch it travel forward alongside or ahead of the carrier. This mix of push-and-go and pull-back movement offers more ways to start play than a basic push-only truck, while keeping the actions straightforward for young children.

The vehicles also provide a starting point for simple pretend-play scenes: the truck can carry the dinosaur theme through a made-up journey, with the smaller cars moving around it. These actions support opportunities to practise hand-eye coordination and use imagination, which are stated educational objectives of the toy. Play is intended for one child at a time, making it easy to bring out for individual floor play.

Usage tips

Use a clear indoor floor area so the truck and mini cars have room to move. Show a young child how to push the truck and pull a small car back before releasing it, the different mechanisms make the set easy to explore one vehicle at a time. Turning the truck’s head demonstrates how its direction changes and can help keep the play interactive without adding complicated controls.

Buyers describe the dinosaur design as appealing and often say children enjoy playing with the vehicles. Feedback on the size and build quality is mixed, so the listed truck dimensions are a useful reference when choosing it as a gift or play set.

Buying verdict

The Veslier 559A8 suits families looking for a dinosaur-themed vehicle set with more than one way to play. The push-and-go truck, four pull-back cars, turning head, lights and sound bring variety to indoor floor play, while the age recommendation makes its intended audience clear. Choose it for a young dinosaur fan who will enjoy moving several vehicles around and creating simple stories as they play.
