Brialice Toddler Toys 40-Piece Wooden Train Set with Castle and Play Mat

The castle-themed play mat gives this wooden train set a ready-made setting for building and storytelling. Children can arrange the track, add the scenery and send the unicorn train through their own fairytale world.

With 40 pieces, the set offers plenty of elements to build, rebuild and explore different layouts. Its pink castle, bridge and rainbow details make each railway adventure feel part of a larger play scene.

Wooden track pieces and scenery support hands-on play, from connecting a route to creating stories along the way. The set is designed for children ages 3 to 6 and works with most wooden railways, making it easy to bring into an existing train-play setup.

Best use cases

This set suits play sessions that combine building with imaginative role-play. A child can lay out a track, place the castle scenery and invent a journey for the unicorn train, then change the layout for a new story. Connecting the pieces and arranging the scene also gives children a hands-on way to practise concentration, coordination and creative thinking through play.

Compared with a plain track set focused mainly on laying rails, this one brings the railway together with a themed play mat and printed scenery. That makes it a natural fit for children who enjoy castles, princesses or unicorns as much as trains. Its compatibility with most standard wooden railways also lets it join a broader wooden-track play area.

Usage tips

Start by spreading out the play mat and choosing a route that leaves room for the castle, bridge and other scenery. Children can then connect the track and decide where each scene belongs, making the layout part of the activity rather than simply following a fixed design. For a fresh play session, rearrange the scenery or rebuild the route and let the train take a different path.

The wooden construction, smooth rounded edges and water-based paint are described as suitable for everyday play. The set can be used at home, in a classroom or in a preschool setting, with adult guidance appropriate to the child and play environment.

Should you buy it?

It makes sense if you want a wooden railway set that gives children more than a route to assemble. The 40-piece layout, castle scenery and play mat encourage both track-building and storytelling, while the unicorn theme adds a clear focus for imaginative play. For a birthday or Christmas gift for a child who enjoys trains and fairytale scenes, it brings those interests together in a hands-on activity.
