Kipiea 500D Double Egg Chair Cover, Waterproof Zipper, Windproof, UV-Resistant

Cover a double hanging egg chair between uses to help shield it from rain, sun and wind. The Kipiea outdoor cover is made from heavy-duty 500D Oxford fabric with a double-layer PU coating, taped seams and a waterproof zipper, creating a practical barrier for a patio chair that stays outdoors.

Its stated fit is for chairs up to 80" W x 91" H, including many double-seat hanging egg chairs with stands and rattan or wicker styles. Check the chair’s dimensions against this size range to choose a suitable fit.

Everyday use

When the chair is not in use, pull the cover over it and secure it with the middle straps, four windproof buckles and the drawstring around the bottom. These fastening points help hold the cover in place, while the zipper makes it easier to open and close for access. Hook-and-loop fastening is also listed among the closure types.

The waterproof coating, taped seams and zipper tape are designed to help keep rain from reaching the chair. That makes the cover useful for protecting outdoor seating between gatherings or during stretches when the chair is left unused. For a patio that needs day-to-day coverage, the combination of a full-length cover and several ways to secure it is more practical than relying on a loose fabric sheet that can shift in the wind.

What you’ll notice day to day

The black 500D Oxford fabric provides a sturdy cover for a double egg chair, while its UV-resistant coating helps protect the fabric from sun exposure and fading. The material is also described as tear-resistant, supporting regular outdoor use as the cover is put on and taken off.

A scenario where these details come together is covering a patio chair after an afternoon outdoors: the zippered opening gives access when it is time to use the seat again, and the buckles and drawstring help secure the cover when it is left in place. If your priority is a fitted cover for an oversized double chair, the stated width and height are useful sizing references, if you mainly need a simple cover for a smaller item, a compact cover may be a better match for that different task.
