Kipiea 259 x 188 x 71cm Patio Furniture Cover, 420D Oxford Fabric

Choosing a patio cover is about more than shielding furniture from rain: it also needs to fit the set and stay in place outdoors. The Kipiea cover is sized for a rectangular patio furniture arrangement and uses 420D Oxford fabric with a double-layer PU waterproof coating and taped seams to help protect the furniture beneath it.

Four windproof buckles and two adjustable drawstrings provide practical ways to secure the cover around a patio table-and-chair or sectional sofa set.

What to know

Made from 100% 420D heavy-duty Oxford fabric, this cover combines a double-layer PU coating with waterproof tape at the seams. That construction is designed to help keep rainwater off outdoor furniture, while the fabric’s UV-resistant coating adds protection during sunny periods. The rectangular cover measures 102" L x 74" W x 27" H, so compare those dimensions with the furniture arrangement you plan to cover, including its overall height.

The four buckles and two adjustable drawstrings help hold the cover in position rather than relying on fabric draped loosely over the set. That makes it a useful approach for households that want both weather coverage and a way to fasten the cover around their furniture. It also comes with a storage bag, giving you a place to keep the cover when it is not in use.

Buyers commonly praise its water resistance, fit and usefulness for covering patio furniture. Feedback on durability over time is mixed, so those impressions are best treated as individual experiences rather than a guarantee of how the cover will perform in every setting.

Best use cases

Use it to cover a rectangular patio dining set or outdoor sectional when the furniture is not in use. Its broad footprint is intended for a table-and-chair arrangement, while the adjustable fastenings help bring the cover around the set. It suits you if you want a single cover with waterproof-coated fabric and built-in securing points, rather than a loose drape without adjustable closures.

For day-to-day protection, the combination of a coated fabric and taped seams is relevant when rain is part of the forecast, the UV-resistant coating is useful when the set remains outdoors in the sun. Match the cover’s dimensions to the full furniture arrangement so the coverage works for the pieces you want to protect together.

Tips for day-to-day use

Spread the cover over the furniture and fasten the buckles, then adjust the drawstrings to secure it around the set. After use, the fabric can be rinsed with water and wiped dry. When you take it off, store it in the supplied bag to keep the cover together between uses.
