ICOFRU SPT-S01 Solar Pendant Light, 5 Modes, Motion Sensor and Remote

Fit and sizing

For lighting a shed, gazebo, porch or other spot without a nearby power connection, the ICOFRU SPT-S01 uses solar power and a separate panel connected to the pendant light by a 5 m cable. That separation lets you position the panel apart from the fixture, while the ceiling-mounted light serves indoor or outdoor spaces. Its black plastic fixture measures 20.5 x 20.5 x 10.5 cm, a compact format for utility areas, small sheds and covered outdoor settings.

The included remote makes it easy to choose a lighting mode or adjust the brightness from where you’re using the space. The fixture provides up to 1,000 lumens of light, with a 6,000 K colour temperature.

Why it makes sense

Rather than relying on a single on/off setting, this solar pendant offers five modes for different routines. At night, choose dim-to-bright motion activation, off-to-bright motion activation or constant-on lighting. For daytime motion lighting, select Mode 4, Mode 5 keeps the light on throughout the day. In motion-sensing modes, the light turns off or returns to dim after 15 seconds without detected movement.

The remote also provides four brightness levels and fixed lighting-time settings of 2, 4 or 6 hours. This gives you control over the light for tasks such as finding tools in a shed, checking a storage area or spending time in a gazebo. Buyers have praised the brightness and the fixture’s usefulness in smaller spaces, while reports on reliability and overall operation are mixed.

Practical questions

Can it provide light during the day? Yes. Select Mode 4 for motion-activated lighting during the day and at night, or Mode 5 for constant-on lighting in both conditions.

How do the motion-sensing modes behave? Modes 1 and 2 activate with movement at night, Mode 1 starts dim and brightens, while Mode 2 starts from off. Mode 4 provides motion-activated light throughout the day. In these sensor modes, the light turns off or dims after 15 seconds without movement.

How do you operate it with the remote? Use the remote to switch the light on or off, select modes, adjust brightness and set a 2-, 4- or 6-hour lighting period. Before first use, switch on the button on the light itself. The remote cannot control the fixture when it is in sleep mode.

When it makes sense

The SPT-S01 is suited to sheds, gazebos, barns, garages and porches where solar-powered lighting and flexible controls are useful. Its separate panel, motion options and remote-adjustable brightness help adapt the light to both quick visits and longer tasks, without making the same setting fit every space.
