Hypamutek 0902-F Voice Recorder, 128 GB, Magnetic, Voice-Activated

Set the Hypamutek 0902-F on a metal desk or filing cabinet to capture a meeting, lecture or interview, or keep it in a pocket for recording on the move. Its built-in magnet offers a hands-free placement option, while one-switch recording makes it quick to start capturing audio when a conversation begins.

With 128 GB of storage and USB-C connectivity, it also gives you a straightforward way to keep recordings together and transfer files to a compatible computer or smartphone.

Everyday use

Use continuous recording when you want to capture a full session, or switch to voice activation so recording starts when sound is detected. The recorder supports up to 75 hours of continuous recording and up to 100 hours of voice-activated recording. For meetings, classes and interviews, that gives you options for capturing a complete discussion or recording in response to sound.

The built-in magnet attaches the device to metal surfaces such as a whiteboard, cabinet, desk or car interior. That can help keep it positioned within reach without holding it, while its compact format is easy to carry in a bag or pocket. Turn the switch to “ON” for quick recording, then use playback to review your audio on the device.

Why it makes sense

Rather than relying only on manual starts and stops, voice activation can begin recording when it detects sound. This is useful when you want a simpler way to capture spoken sessions. AI noise reduction is designed to process ambient sound and focus on vocals, making it a practical feature for voice-led recordings such as interviews, lectures and business meetings.

The 128 GB built-in storage holds up to 16,800 hours of audio at 32 kbps, giving you room to keep a substantial collection of recordings on the device. When it is time to organize or move files, USB-C and OTG support provide connection options for a PC or smartphone. It also functions as a USB flash drive for file storage and transfer, and as an MP3 player for music.

Key features

The recorder supports MP3 and WAV audio formats and has a built-in microphone. A clip-on microphone, earphones, USB-C cable, Type-C OTG adapter and user manual are listed among the included accessories, so the package supports recording, listening and file management. The manufacturer states that a USB-C charge takes 2–3 hours and that a low-battery auto-save function secures recordings before the device powers down.

For a typical meeting, place the recorder on a nearby metal surface or keep it close at hand, start recording with the switch, then use playback to revisit key points. Connect it to a compatible computer or smartphone to manage audio files. The combination of voice activation, magnetic placement and large built-in storage suits people who want a portable recorder with more than one way to capture and handle audio.

Final verdict

The Hypamutek 0902-F brings together magnetic placement, voice-activated recording, playback and 128 GB of storage in a compact device. It suits students, professionals and anyone recording meetings, lectures or interviews who values simple start-up and convenient access to their audio files.
