hicorfe FSDoor mat-9-119180-Black Indoor Doormat, 47" x 71", Black

At 47" x 71", this black rectangular doormat covers a generous area at an entryway. Its low-profile design helps keep the doorway practical for everyday use.

The polypropylene tufted surface is designed to absorb moisture and collect dirt from shoes. A ribbed texture helps scrape away grit, while the TPR rubber backing provides a non-slip base on a dry floor.

Use it by a front or back door to help manage tracked-in moisture and debris before they reach the rest of the home. The machine-washable construction makes routine cleaning straightforward.

What it works with

Place the mat inside an entryway, by a back door or in another covered area where shoes bring in dirt and moisture. It also suits balconies and patios when they are covered. The broad rectangular format gives more floor coverage than a small threshold mat, making it useful where people regularly come and go or where several pairs of shoes pass through.

For best placement, lay it on a dry floor so the backing can sit against the surface as intended. Its low profile is designed to help doors move over the mat without catching. Keep it indoors or in a covered outdoor spot, where it can collect everyday dust, grit, sand, mud and dampness at the entrance.

Getting the most from it

Shake the mat outdoors or over a bin to remove loose debris, then sweep or vacuum it as part of regular cleaning. For a deeper wash, machine wash with water below 86°F / 30°C. Do not bleach, tumble dry with no heat or low heat, and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sun. If needed, iron only the polypropylene top surface.

The mat is folded for shipping, so lay it flat for 2 to 3 days to let creases ease. A damp towel placed over a crease can also be ironed to smooth the polypropylene surface. Buyers often appreciate its appearance and report that it stays in place during everyday use. Feedback on sizing and how easily shipping folds disappear is mixed, so measuring the intended floor space can help you judge the coverage you want.

Before you decide

Can you machine-wash this doormat? Yes. Wash it with water below 86°F / 30°C. Do not bleach, and use no heat or low heat if tumble drying.

Where can it be used? It is intended for indoor use, including entryways and back-door areas, and can also be placed in covered outdoor spaces such as a balcony or patio.

How should you handle creases after unpacking? Lay the mat flat for 2 to 3 days. For stubborn creases, place a damp towel over the area and iron on top of the towel, smoothing only the polypropylene surface.

Should you buy it?
