Halo Sport HB-008 Laser Tag Set of 6 with LCD Vests and 4 Weapon Modes

Set up a backyard team game or turn a clear indoor space into a laser tag arena with the Halo Sport HB-008. Its blasters and sensor vests use lights, sound effects and vibration to make each round more engaging for kids aged 8 and up.

The vest and blaster displays show player status, while HeroSync keeps lives and team information paired between them. That means players can check their status during a game without relying only on sound or lights.

Four weapon modes—Pistol, Automatic, Laser and Rocket Launcher—bring different sound effects and play styles to each match. With indoor and outdoor use in mind, this set suits family game nights, birthday gatherings and active play with friends.

Practical tips

Choose a play area where participants have room to move, whether that is a living room cleared for a quick match or a backyard for a larger game. The stated range is up to 125 feet, so teams can spread out while staying within the product’s described range. Set teams before play begins: the system supports up to four teams, and the manufacturer describes player capacity as unlimited.

Want everyone to keep track of the action without stopping to tally hits? The LCD displays on both the blasters and vests show status during play, and HeroSync keeps lives and team data paired. For a group that already owns Halo Sport Laser Tag sets, the manufacturer says its sets are compatible with one another, allowing play to expand across sets.

AAA batteries are required, and the product information states that batteries are sold separately. The adjustable neck and waist straps help players wear the sensor vests during a match. Follow the included setup guidance and select a suitable space for the group and type of play.

What stands out

The paired displays make this more than a blaster-only game: players can see life and team status on the gun or vest as the match unfolds. Each weapon mode adds its own sound effects and style, giving players a reason to switch tactics between rounds. Lights, sounds and vibration add sensory feedback, while the vests give each player a wearable part of the game.

Compared with a basic toy blaster game that leaves teams to keep score themselves, HeroSync and the LCD indicators provide a built-in way to follow lives and team information. The indoor-and-outdoor format also makes it easy to plan a short round at home or a more open game in the backyard or park. Buyers often praise the straightforward setup and enjoyable play. Feedback is more mixed on connectivity and value, and some buyers raise concerns about battery use, making battery planning a practical part of preparing a game.

Should you buy it?

This set is suited to families and groups looking for an active team game with more structure than pretend blaster play. The vest-and-blaster pairing, four selectable weapon modes and support for multiple teams give a group several ways to organize a match, while the LCD status displays help keep the game moving. It’s a good fit if you want screen-free play that can bring kids and family members together indoors or outside.
