Tips for day-to-day use
Clip the light onto a book and adjust the lamp head to aim the beam across the page. The head tilts down 45° and turns 90° left or right, the clip rotates 150° to help set a comfortable position. Its foldable design makes it easy to tuck away with your reading material, and the light can also serve as a bookmark between reading sessions.
Choose from amber, mixed or white light to suit your setting, then use the brightness button for one of five levels or press and hold for stepless adjustment. The light remembers the brightness and colour temperature settings for next time. A battery indicator helps you keep track of charge, while USB-C recharging means the built-in battery can be topped up with the included cable. Runtime is described as 10 to 80 hours depending on the light mode.
A clip-on light offers a different approach from a tabletop lamp: it attaches directly to the book, keeping illumination close to the page and your setup compact. That makes the G1313 practical for reading in bed, in a chair or while travelling, with no need to position a separate lamp beside your reading spot.
Who it’s for
This light suits readers who want portable, adjustable illumination for books, newspapers or documents. The three colour settings and variable brightness make it easy to adapt the light to different reading moments, while the movable head and rotating clip help direct it across the material in hand. Its compact size is especially useful when a full-size lamp is awkward to place or carry.
You’ll like it if you want a rechargeable book light with flexible positioning rather than a fixed reading beam. It is also a useful fit for keeping with a book or packing for a trip, thanks to its light weight and foldable form.
Final verdict
The Gritin G1313 brings adjustable, rechargeable lighting directly to your reading material. Seven LEDs, three colour temperatures, flexible positioning and compact dimensions make it a practical choice for readers looking for a personal light for bedtime reading, study or travel.
