Dimmable floor lamp, 68 inches

What matters most

Stepless dimming is the main draw here: turn the control to adjust the light from 0 to 100%, rather than choosing between a few preset levels. That gives this black, tree-style floor lamp more flexibility for a living room, bedroom or reading corner where the desired brightness can change through the day.

It has three E26 sockets and comes with three warm-white LED bulbs, each rated at 800 lumens and 2700K. The listed combined output is 2400 lumens, so it can provide more than a small accent glow, lowering the brightness can help when you want a softer atmosphere. The bulbs are rated for 25,000 hours, though actual lifespan depends on use.

Best use cases

At 68 inches tall, the lamp has a noticeable vertical presence, while its teardrop-style cage shades make the bulbs part of the room’s decor. The black metal look is intended to suit industrial, farmhouse and vintage-inspired spaces. It may also work in a minimalist or mid-century room if you want a more decorative alternative to a plain-shade floor lamp.

Picture it beside a sofa: brighter for reading, then turned down for a quieter evening. It is also listed for bedrooms, offices and dining rooms, but the three exposed-looking cage shades are a more visible design choice than a discreet task lamp. Te encaja si you want adjustable room lighting with a metal, multi-head look. Quizá no encaja si you need a compact lamp that blends into the background or a focused reading beam, no directional head or beam adjustment is specified.

Tips for day-to-day use

The lamp’s base measures 9.8 inches in diameter, and its 6.17 ft power cord gives some flexibility when choosing a spot. The listing describes the base as heavy and stable, including on carpet, but it does not provide a lamp weight. Keep in mind that replacement bulbs must be dimmable for the dimming function to work as intended, the sockets are listed as compatible with E26 LED, CFL, incandescent and halogen bulbs, with dimmable bulbs required.

For a reading spot, place it close enough to light the area without relying on it as a directed task light. If you’re replacing one of the supplied bulbs, match the E26 base and check that the bulb is dimmable. The supplied bulbs are described as 6W, 60W equivalent, and 800 lumens each.
