Greymond CTBB22 Upholstered Wall-Mounted Headboard, Dark Grey, Terry Cloth, 9-Pack

Some bedrooms call for a substantial freestanding headboard, others benefit from padded panels mounted directly on the wall. The Greymond CTBB22 set brings a dark grey, upholstered finish to a Full or Queen bed. Want a softer surface behind the bed without drilling? Its peel-and-stick mounting makes the panels a practical way to add cushioning and a finished look.

Best use cases

Designed for Full and Queen beds, this nine-panel set creates an upholstered backdrop while keeping the headboard attached to the wall rather than standing on the floor. The outer terry cloth has a towel-like feel, and the padded construction combines high-elasticity sponge with wooden boards. Together, these materials give the panels a cushioned surface and help absorb sound, making them suitable for bedrooms as well as spaces such as offices, conference rooms, home cinemas or recording rooms where sound absorption is useful.

The panels attach by peeling away the adhesive surface, so installation does not require drilling holes in the wall. This wall-mounted format suits shoppers who want a padded headboard effect without choosing a separate freestanding frame. In a bedroom, for example, the panels can form a soft, dark grey backdrop behind the bed, in a work or media space, the same padded construction can add a fabric-covered surface to the wall.

Why it’s worth it

This set combines the visual role of an upholstered headboard with the flexibility of separate wall panels. The fabric covering brings a softer, more tactile finish than a bare wall, while the sponge padding adds cushioning behind the bed. The panels are also described as sound-absorbing, so they can serve a practical purpose in rooms where reducing sound reflection is part of the setup. They are not presented as a substitute for dedicated acoustic treatment, their value is in bringing padding, upholstery and sound absorption together in a wall-mounted headboard format.

The adhesive mounting is a useful distinction for anyone who prefers a straightforward installation over drilling for a traditional wall-mounted headboard. Buyers also speak positively about the appearance and construction, describing the headboard as attractive and as matching its description. That feedback complements the product’s dark grey terry-cloth finish and padded panel design.

Is it worth it?

For a Full or Queen bedroom that needs a soft, upholstered backdrop, the Greymond CTBB22 offers a clear combination: nine dark grey panels, terry-cloth upholstery, padded construction and peel-and-stick installation. It is especially suited to shoppers who want the look and cushioning of a wall-mounted headboard, with sound-absorbing padding that can also work in other rooms. The result is a practical choice for adding a defined, fabric-covered surface behind a bed without making a freestanding headboard the centre of the setup.
