Dream On Me Emma 649-SGY Convertible Toddler Bed, Storm Grey Pinewood
Product description
When your toddler is ready to move on from a crib, the Dream On Me Emma offers a low-to-the-floor bed designed for an easier transition. Four wooden safety rails and centre legs support its practical, steady design. Its Storm Grey finish and sleigh-inspired curves bring a gentle, modern look to a child’s room. The Emma can also be converted into two child-sized chairs and a table with a separate conversion kit.
Usage tips
Assembly is required, so follow the included assembly instructions before your child uses the bed. Its low profile makes it easier for a toddler to get in and out independently, while the four wooden rails provide sides around the sleeping area. The frame is made of New Zealand pinewood, and the painted finish can be cared for with a dry cloth. For the bed setup, the manufacturer recommends a standard crib mattress, a Dream On Me non-toxic, Greenguard-certified standard crib mattress is suggested for a matching fit.
Why it’s worth it
A toddler bed can make the move from a crib feel more manageable than going straight to an adult-sized bed. The Emma’s low-to-floor design puts the sleeping surface within easier reach, and the four rails help define the space around your child. Centre legs reinforce the frame, while the sleigh shape and Storm Grey colour suit a range of nursery and bedroom styles.
The convertible design extends the bed’s use beyond its first role: with the separate conversion kit, it changes into two child-sized chairs and a table. That makes it an appealing choice for families who want children’s furniture that can take on a different purpose as needs change. The kit is sold separately, as are the mattress and bedding.

What mattress is recommended? The manufacturer recommends a standard crib mattress and suggests a Dream On Me non-toxic, Greenguard-certified standard crib mattress for a proper fit. The mattress and bedding are sold separately.
How should the frame be cleaned? The care instructions call for wiping it with a dry cloth, a simple routine for keeping the painted pinewood frame tidy.
When it makes sense
The Emma is well suited to families looking for a dedicated transition bed with a low-to-the-floor profile, wooden safety rails and a design that can later serve as children’s seating and a table. Its New Zealand pinewood construction, Storm Grey finish and convertible format make it a practical fit for a toddler’s room where both everyday sleep and adaptable furniture matter.
