Key points

The curved metal frame and transparent glass shade pair a clean, contemporary appearance with practical room lighting. Its single light source directs light downwards, making the lamp useful beside a reading chair or near a sofa. The clear shade also keeps the design visually open, so it can sit alongside a range of modern, minimalist or traditional furnishings without becoming a heavy-looking focal point.

A weighted base supports the freestanding design, while the foot switch offers convenient on-and-off operation when your hands are occupied. The lamp measures 25D x 25W x 167.6H centimetres, giving it a floor-lamp profile with a defined footprint. An E26 bulb base and A19 bulb shape identify the format used, a bulb is listed among the included components. The corded electric lamp is intended for indoor use.

Practical tips

During assembly, line up each part with its corresponding mounting holes before tightening the fittings. This helps the connections sit properly and supports a straight, stable setup. Once assembled, position the base on a level indoor floor and place the lamp where its downward light can serve the seating or reading area you want to illuminate.

The glass shade is a central part of the lamp’s appearance, so handle it carefully during setup and when cleaning. The polished metal base and frame complement the clear shade, making the lamp a useful choice when you want a practical light that also contributes to the room’s decor.

Tips for day-to-day use

For evening reading, place the lamp beside a chair so the foot switch is easy to reach with a foot and the light is close to your usual reading spot. In a living room, it can add a separate source of light for relaxing or watching television, while in a bedroom or study it provides a freestanding option without using a table surface. The foot-operated switch is especially handy when you are settled in and want to turn the light on or off without bending to reach a switch on the lamp.

Buyers often praise the lamp’s modern appearance and straightforward assembly, and some appreciate its lighting and convenient foot control. Feedback on sturdiness is mixed, so take care when assembling and positioning the glass-shade design.
