Deconovo CT3168D-5 Blackout Curtains, 2 Panels, Star White Silver Wave

The essentials

For bedrooms and living spaces where privacy and reduced incoming light matter, these Deconovo curtains pair room-darkening fabric with a flowing silver wave pattern. The set includes two Star White panels, each 42 inches wide by 84 inches long. Their triple-weave fabric helps reduce sunlight, glare and outside visibility, while thermal insulation is designed to help moderate heat transfer through the window throughout the year.

The layered silver curves add visual movement without taking over the room, making the curtains a decorative alternative to plain blackout panels. They suit contemporary, minimalist and classic interiors, including bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms and home offices. The fabric is 100% polyester, and the product is described as tested to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100. Buyers often praise the appearance and feel of the material, feedback on blackout performance, colour and thickness is mixed. Light reduction varies with the shade, window direction and installation, and lighter colours generally provide less room darkening than darker ones.

Best use cases

Use the panels where softer daylight, added privacy or a darker setting for sleep, naps or movie time would be welcome. Their thermal-insulated construction can also support a more comfortable room by helping reduce heat transfer at the window. The curtains are intended for indoor use and are designed to help soften outside noise and protect from direct sun.

For a room that needs both practical coverage and a decorative accent, the silver wave pattern offers more visual detail than a solid-colour panel. Each curtain has six metal grommets, so the fabric can slide along a compatible rod and form even folds. The grommets fit rods up to 1.6 inches in diameter, and the rod and mounting hardware are not included.

Usage tips

Hang both panels on a suitable curtain rod, then adjust their position to create the coverage and folds you want. For a sleep space, placing the panels across the full window can help reduce incoming light and outside visibility, the result will depend on the colour, window orientation and how the curtains sit around the window. In a living room or home office, open them during the day and draw them when you want more privacy or less glare.

Follow the care directions for the specific pair you have before washing, and avoid bleach. The product information also advises low-heat drying or hanging to dry and ironing on the reverse side with a cool iron, do not iron directly on the metallic foil pattern. This helps protect the silver design during care.

Should you buy it?

Choose the Deconovo CT3168D-5 if you want a two-panel set that combines a room-darkening function, thermal-insulated fabric and a distinctive silver wave motif. It is well suited to bedrooms and shared living spaces where privacy and softer light are useful, and where a patterned finish is preferable to a plain curtain. The Star White colour keeps the look light, while the metallic curves add detail without replacing the curtain’s everyday purpose.
