California Design Den 400 Thread Count King Cotton Sateen Sheet Set, Grey

The 400-thread-count cotton sateen weave gives this king sheet set a smooth, soft feel, while breathable 100% cotton suits year-round bedding. The grey solid colour brings a simple, coordinated look to the bed. Could the fitted sheet’s deep pocket make bed-making easier? It’s designed for mattresses up to 41 cm deep, with all-around elastic and head-and-foot indicators.

Highlights

This four-piece set includes a flat sheet, a fitted sheet and two king pillowcases. Its 100% cotton fabric has a sateen weave, a smooth finish and a natural cotton feel. For anyone choosing between cotton and microfiber bedding, this set puts the focus on breathable cotton and the sleek feel of sateen.

The fitted sheet is fully elasticized, and labels identify the head and foot sides to help orient it when making the bed. The grey colour and solid pattern work well as a calm base for a bedroom, whether you’re refreshing existing bedding or furnishing a new space. Buyers often praise the soft feel, colour, fit and washability, feedback is mixed on how well the sheets resist wrinkles and hold up over time.

Quick sizing guide

Made for a king bed, the set includes a flat sheet measuring 284 cm W x 259 cm L and a fitted sheet measuring 198 cm W x 203 cm L. The fitted sheet’s 41 cm pocket depth is suited to a mattress up to that depth. Two king pillowcases measure 53 cm W x 102 cm L each. These measurements make it easier to match the set to your bed and pillows before putting it into rotation.

Practical tips

The fitted sheet’s all-around elastic helps it stay in place around the mattress, while the head-and-foot indicators make it easier to line up the sheet correctly. For a straightforward care routine, machine wash and tumble dry according to the product’s care instructions. The cotton sateen fabric is a practical choice when you want bedding that feels smooth against the skin without moving to a synthetic fibre.

A useful everyday scenario is making up the bed after laundry day: the directional tags help with placement, and the elastic edge makes the fitted sheet easier to position around the mattress. The matching grey flat sheet and pillowcases complete the set in one coordinated colour.

When it makes sense

Choose this set when you want king-size bedding with a smooth sateen finish, breathable cotton and a fitted sheet designed for mattresses up to 41 cm deep. It brings together the main pieces for dressing the bed, with two king pillowcases and a versatile solid grey shade. It’s a considered fit for updating a bedroom with cotton bedding that’s easy to care for and made for regular use.
