BOSS WAZA-AIR-B Wireless Over-Ear Bass System with 3D Audio and 30+ Effects

Advanced spatial technology and an integrated gyro sensor create a moving 3D sound environment as you play, bringing a more immersive feel to bass practice through headphones.

Choose from five bass amp types and over 30 bass-tuned effects to shape your sound. The system also includes acoustic drum grooves and a metronome with 32 rhythm variations for structured practice or playing along.

BOSS wireless technology connects the bass system without a cable between the instrument and headphones, while Bluetooth lets you stream music from a smartphone. Controls provide access to bass volume, Bluetooth playback and six user-configurable tone settings.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use the WAZA-AIR-B for solo practice when you want to work on a part with an amp-style sound in an over-ear headphone format. Drum grooves and metronome variations add a rhythmic reference, while the range of amp types and effects makes it easy to explore different bass tones within the same setup. For a play-along session, stream music from a smartphone over Bluetooth and adjust playback using the onboard controls.

The large 50 mm drivers deliver bass-focused sound, and the conforming earpads support a close fit for listening. When you have finished playing, the headphones fold for compact storage or flat transport in an instrument bag. Built-in rechargeable batteries provide up to five hours of headphone play time, the WL-T transmitter offers up to 12 hours.

Pros

A key advantage is having amp tones, effects and practice tools together in a wireless personal system. You can move between five amp types, customize effects for bass, then add drum grooves or metronome rhythms without changing the basic setup. Six user-configurable tone settings make favourite sounds readily accessible, and Bluetooth streaming brings backing music into a practice session.

Buyer feedback is mixed. Some customers praise the wearing comfort, while others report inconsistent connectivity, popping or crackling sounds, and varied battery experiences. These are individual reports rather than product specifications, but they are useful context for shoppers comparing a dedicated wireless bass system with a conventional wired headphone practice setup.
