Sanko KZ-57 Stay-in-Place Tile Carpet, 10-Pack, Beige and Light Beige
Product description
Each Sanko KZ-57 tile measures 30 x 30 cm, giving you a compact format to arrange around the shape of your room or a specific spot on the floor.
The set includes 10 tiles in two shades: five beige and five light beige. Arrange them in a simple pattern or mix the colours to create a floor covering that suits your space.
A gripping backing helps the tiles stay in place while still allowing them to be lifted and repositioned. Their 3 mm profile keeps the covering low, and the tiles can be cut with scissors for a more tailored fit.
How to use it
Choose a suitable floor surface, then wipe away dust and moisture so the tiles can adhere properly. Peel off the backing film, position each tile and press it down by hand. You can adjust the layout as you go, making it practical for a hallway, entryway, kitchen or a defined area in the living or dining room. The tiles can also be arranged as a pet mat.
For an edge, post or other uneven shape, cut a tile with scissors to fit the space. The product is designed for use on floors other than hardwood, tatami mats and carpet, avoid aged or damaged floor surfaces. Lift the tiles about once a month and let the backing contact the air before putting them back.
Pros
Unlike a single floor covering with a fixed outline, individual tiles let you build a layout around the area you want to cover and change it when needed. The two beige tones add a simple way to vary the pattern without changing the overall palette. Repositionable tiles are handy when you want to adjust the arrangement or make a closer fit around furniture.
The water-repellent surface can be wiped clean, and the tiles are machine washable for repeated care, use a laundry net when washing. Water repellent does not mean waterproof, so wipe spills rather than treating the tiles as a waterproof barrier. The low-profile 3 mm construction is also useful where a raised floor covering would interfere with a door opening and closing. The tiles are compatible with floor heating.
