ZOTIA Cute Spiral Journal, A5 Hardcover Notebook with 114 GSM Lined Paper

Best use cases

At 5.7" x 7.9", this A5 spiral journal is sized for a backpack, desk, or everyday note-taking. Its college-ruled pages suit work, school, planning, and personal writing.

The hardcover and reinforced twin-wire binding give the notebook structure, while the spiral lets it open flat for writing. A water-resistant cover adds a practical layer of protection for a journal carried between locations.

For organization, it includes 140 ruled pages, 20 blank table-of-contents pages, a small header space on lined pages, and a back pocket for loose papers. An elastic band helps keep it closed when not in use.

Strengths

The extras make this more organized than a basic lined notebook: the contents pages provide a place to plan an index, the page headers can be used for dates or titles, and the pocket can hold papers you want to keep with your notes. The elastic closure is useful when the journal is packed alongside other items.

The paper is listed at 114 GSM and described as resistant to ink bleed and ghosting. Ballpoint, gel, and fountain pens are identified as suitable options, though results can vary with the specific pen and ink. Buyers also speak positively about the patterned hardcover, size, and included pocket, some describe the notebook as sturdy and note that its pages hold up well.

A solid pick if you want a compact journal with built-in organization for notes, planning, or writing on the go. Compared with a simpler notebook that only offers lined pages, this adds an elastic band, pocket, and contents pages. It’s not for you if you specifically prefer a bound notebook without spiral binding.

Questions before you buy

How are the pages organized? The lined pages have a small header area for dates or titles, and the journal includes 20 blank pages for a table of contents.

Can it hold loose papers? Yes. A pocket at the back is included for loose papers, and an elastic band helps keep the journal closed.

What pens is the paper intended for? The product information lists ballpoint, gel, and fountain pens and describes the 114 GSM paper as resistant to bleed and ghosting. That wording does not guarantee identical results with every pen or ink.

Should you buy it?

Choose this journal if you want college-ruled writing space in a compact hardcover format, with a spiral binding and a few useful organization features already built in. It can work for daily notes at school, at work, or at home, especially if you like keeping loose papers close to your writing. If you need a different ruling style or want a notebook without a spiral, those preferences point toward a different format.
