YUDOTE Reflective Martingale Dog Collar, Lilac XSmall Nylon with Quick-Release Buckle

For a neighborhood walk with a small dog, the YUDOTE reflective martingale collar combines an adjustable control loop with a quick-release buckle. Its lilac nylon webbing has reflective threads to help the collar stand out when light hits it after dark. The XSmall size fits a 10.4–12-inch neck, making accurate measuring an important part of choosing the right fit.

Highlights

A martingale collar has a fixed neck loop and a control loop that tightens when a dog pulls and relaxes when pressure eases. This gives the handler a way to guide a dog on leash without relying on a metal choke-style collar. The design can also suit dogs whose heads are narrower than their necks, for whom a standard collar may be easier to slip out of.

The leash attaches to the metal D-ring on the control loop. A quick-release buckle makes the collar easier to put on and take off, while the high-density nylon webbing keeps the design lightweight for everyday walks. Reflective threads run along the upper and lower sides of the webbing, adding visibility when light shines on the collar. The separate small loop is for tags or charms, not for attaching a leash.

On-body feel

Soft nylon webbing gives the collar a flexible feel, and its lightweight construction is intended to sit comfortably around a small dog’s neck. The solid lilac color adds a simple pop of color without a printed pattern. For this XSmall version, the neck range is 10.4–12 inches and the webbing is 4/5 inch wide.

Measure your dog’s neck and allow room for two fingers when checking the fit. Buyers often praise the collar’s appearance, reflectivity, and everyday function, feedback on fit is mixed, with some finding it too small for their dogs. Matching the measured neck size to the stated range helps make the size choice more practical.

Tips for day-to-day use

Attach the leash to the D-ring on the adjustable control loop. During a walk, use gentle leash guidance and stop if needed when your dog pulls, continue when the pressure eases. Keep the collar supervised while it is being used as a martingale training collar, and remove it when your dog is unattended. Hand wash care helps keep the nylon ready for regular use.

For an evening walk, the reflective stitching can catch light from passing vehicles or other light sources, helping the collar be more noticeable. It is a visibility detail for walks, alongside the leash-control function, rather than a substitute for keeping your dog close and attended.

When it makes sense

Choose this collar when you want a martingale-style walking collar for an extra-small dog, with a buckle for easy on-and-off and reflective details for walks in changing light. Its adjustable control loop offers a different approach from a standard fixed collar, particularly for dogs with heads narrower than their necks. It’s a great fit if your dog’s measured neck falls within the 10.4–12-inch range and you want lightweight nylon in a solid lilac finish.
