YOMEYOT Mahjong Mat 31.5 x 31.5 inches

Key specifications

For a Mahjong game on a folding card table or another suitable surface, this pink YOMEYOT mat adds a printed rules reference and a layer between the tiles and the tabletop. It is sized at 31.5 x 31.5 inches and is 2mm thick.

The surface combines natural rubber with Crystal Velvet. The product description says the mat is designed to reduce tile noise and resist wear and scratches. That may appeal if you want a softer, quieter playing surface than a bare table, though it won’t make the sound of tiles disappear.

The rules are printed on the mat, which can be handy when someone is learning or needs a quick reminder during play. On the spec sheet, the square size is described as fitting any Mahjong table, in practice, the table still needs enough usable surface for the mat to lie flat.

Who it’s for

This setup makes sense for Mahjong players who use a folding card table, want a defined playing area, or would rather keep tiles from clicking directly against the tabletop. The printed rules also give beginners a reference without having to keep a separate sheet nearby. Picture a casual game night: the mat is laid out before the tiles, and players can glance down at the rules between turns.

It makes sense if you want a portable mat for home games or as a gift for a Mahjong player. Compared with buying a larger, dedicated Mahjong table, this is a simpler way to prepare an existing table for play. You may want to skip it if you need a full game set, since the Mahjong tiles are not included, or if your preferred playing surface is larger than the mat.

Box contents

The package includes one Mahjong mat and one black carry bag for storage or transport. The mat is listed as easy to clean by removing dirt or dust, but no specific cleaning method or care instructions are provided. If you need detailed washing guidance, that information is not available here.

Questions before you buy

Are Mahjong tiles included? No. The product description specifically says the tiles are not included, so you’ll need to provide your own.

Does the mat have rules printed on it? Yes. Printed game rules are part of the design, making them available at the table during play.

Will it fit a folding card table? It is described as suitable for a folding card table and measures 31.5 x 31.5 inches. Check that your table has enough clear space for that square footprint.

Buying verdict

This mat is a practical add-on for players who already have tiles and want a portable, rule-printed surface that may soften the clatter of play. The carry bag helps keep the mat together between games, while the 2mm thickness keeps the format relatively slim. Its main limitation is straightforward: it prepares a table for Mahjong but does not supply the tiles or replace a dedicated table. Choose it for a defined, easier-to-carry playing surface, pass if you’re looking for a complete game or need a mat larger than its stated dimensions.
