YIKTI 28 x 20 Inch Red Flamingo Stove Top Cover for Electric Stoves

At 28 x 20 inches, this red flamingo stove top cover offers a broad surface for an electric range and can also be used on a counter, table, or washer-dryer top. Its tropical leaf and flower print adds color while the cover helps shield a glass or ceramic stovetop from dust, grease, dirt, and scratches when the surface is not in use.

The flexible natural rubber material is washable and folds or rolls for storage. It is also described as heat resistant up to 400°F, with a specific warning not to place it on active cookware.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use the cover on a cool, inactive stovetop when you want to protect the surface between cooking sessions. Its size also makes it useful as a drying mat for dishes, glasses, fruit, or vegetables, or as a mat for a coffee bar, pet feeding area, tools, plants, or a washer-dryer top. That versatility matters if you want one surface protector for more than the range, a dedicated stove cover may be a better fit if you only need a decorative accent for the cooktop.

For spills or water droplets, the cover can be wiped clean or rinsed under water. When it is not needed, its foldable material can be rolled up or hung using the two included hooks. The stated heat resistance makes it suitable as a mat for hot cookware on a countertop, but the product should not be placed over active cookware. The listing also cautions against covering induction cooktops that exceed 450°F, so its intended use and the cooktop’s operating conditions matter.

Pros

The 28 x 20-inch format gives it room to serve as a stovetop protector or a larger multipurpose mat. Natural rubber, washable construction, and flexible storage make everyday cleanup and putting it away straightforward. The red flamingo and tropical floral pattern is a practical choice for someone who wants the cover to contribute to the kitchen’s look rather than blend into the counter.

Buyers mention the vivid colors and report that the cover fits well, including over a glass stovetop. Those comments offer a useful indication of how people respond to its appearance and fit, but the listed dimensions remain the clearest guide when comparing it with your own surface.

Key takeaways

This is a decorative, multipurpose cover rather than something to leave on a cooking surface while burners or cookware are active. It can protect an inactive glass or ceramic stovetop from everyday dust and grime, and its stated heat resistance also supports countertop use with hot cookware up to 400°F. It makes sense if you want a colorful cover that can double as a drying or utility mat and can be folded away when finished.

It may not suit you if you need a cover that can stay on the stove during cooking or if your intended induction-cooktop use conflicts with the stated temperature warning. The product details do not specify a separate model number or list compatibility beyond the stated electric, glass, and ceramic stovetop uses.

Final verdict

Choose this YIKTI cover for a 28 x 20-inch surface when decorative coverage and flexible secondary uses are priorities. Its washable, foldable design and included hooks make storage part of the appeal, while the flamingo print gives it a more noticeable look than a plain protective mat. For a straightforward purchase decision, measure the intended surface against the listed dimensions and plan to remove the cover before using the cooktop. If your main need is a mat for countertop tasks rather than a cover for an inactive stove, its drying and utility-mat uses may be the more relevant reason to consider it.
