Wiszodet S16 Kids Smartwatch, 39 Games, Camera, Touchscreen, Rose

With 39 built-in games, the Wiszodet S16 gives kids entertainment and simple activities on their wrist. Its touchscreen also brings together a camera, music player, step counter, and alarm clock. Could those everyday extras make a first watch more engaging? The rose-colored design has a 1.54-inch LCD screen and a silicone band.

Getting the most from it

This watch is designed around built-in functions rather than phone connectivity. Kids can use the games, camera, video recording, music player, flashlight, calculator, stopwatch, and alarm without a SIM card or a phone app. The pedometer counts steps, and the watch also lists calorie tracking as a measured metric. Those features make it useful for a child who wants a watch to explore and use independently, rather than a device for calling or location sharing.

The music player can be loaded by connecting the watch to a PC with the USB cable, according to the product information. That means music setup involves a computer, even though everyday use does not require a phone app. The touchscreen and selectable screensavers add a personal touch, while the alarm and reminders can support simple routines. The listing describes the watch as not water resistant, so it is not intended for wear around water.

Why it’s worth it

The appeal is the mix of play and basic daily functions in one device. Instead of choosing a simple toy watch with only games, families get a camera, music player, step counter, and alarms as well. The 1.54-inch screen has a listed resolution of 240 x 280, and the band is silicone. It’s a great fit if a child is ready for an easy-to-use watch with several things to try, but does not need phone-based features.

Buyer feedback reflects that use: customers often describe children enjoying the games, and some appreciate the music player and pedometer. Feedback is less consistent on reliability and durability. Some buyers report satisfactory use, while others mention problems such as a speaker stopping, a device failing, or a screen arriving broken. Battery feedback is also mixed, with reports of quick drain. The product information gives differing battery-life claims, so the listed 500 mAh capacity may be more useful as a specification than a promise of how long each charge will last.

Key takeaways

The S16 is best understood as an activity-and-entertainment watch, not a connected safety device. It has no GPS, and the specifications say it is not compatible with phones. Compared with a GPS-enabled kids’ watch, it puts the emphasis on games and built-in tools rather than location tracking or communication. That distinction matters if staying in contact or checking a child’s location is part of the purchase decision.

It might not be a great match if water resistance, GPS, or dependable phone connectivity is essential. The available information also does not establish consistent battery performance, and customer comments include durability concerns. Those points are worth weighing alongside the range of built-in activities, especially if the watch will be worn throughout a busy day.

Questions before you buy

Does the watch need a phone or SIM card? No. The product information says no SIM card or app is required, and lists no phone compatibility. Music can be added by connecting it to a PC over USB.

Can it track a child’s location? No GPS is listed, so it is not a location-tracking watch.

Can it be worn while swimming? The specifications say it is not water resistant, so it is not described as suitable for swimming or water exposure.

Is it worth it?

Choose the Wiszodet S16 when the priority is a child-friendly watch with games, a camera, music, alarms, and step counting in one device. Its appeal is the variety of built-in activities without a phone app or SIM card. If the main goal is location sharing, calls, water resistance, or a clearly predictable battery runtime, this model’s listed features and mixed buyer feedback do not establish that it meets those needs.
